Except it's a magic tree, that will rise up to defend the Night Elves during a war heh... as mentioned earlier in the thread.

Don't be so quick to eliminate Silvermoon city.
Didn't they have some super-awesome magical barrier from Sunwell magic that they used to fend of everything?
Arthas didn't break that barrier easy , even with the huge number of undead.
If the elves were to rebuild it , it would be pretty strong.

Isn't Teldrassil the Dan Hibiki of world trees? As in, not really much of a bother when compared to the genuine article?
It's changed since Stormrage; the tree is no longer corrupted, and is now tied into the Druids.

Darn has nature protection :P and IF and UC are underground fortresses. Once the Lifts in UC are disabled there is no going in. And IF has a few more entrances - Airfield, main gate, the hatch above the battle masters but all of these could be easily blocked. And you cant starve UC and IF - undead and tram.
However ! I think that IF and SW are the strongest cities. The fortress is only as strong as its defenders. Almost the whole Horde Army is in Orgrimmar. So even if Orgri has 3 entrances the alliance would need to bring all of its army and kill all the horde army while they are defending a fortress - not going to happen - for the alliance to win they need 10 man for every one horde. But there aren't 10 alliances :D
Same goes for SW - Humans are the majority of the army and Dwarfs are one tram away. Hordes can't take SW unless there are no defenders.
Exodar and Silvermoon even tough one is a SPACE ship (can survive re-entry AND crash) and the other is guarded by LOTS of magic, both races are near extinct. Thus they don't have the man power to protect them selfs against a full scale assault, and reenforcement are FAR away. Gnomergan is poisoned and I don't think its completely livable atm. And Echo Isles are a joke from a military point of view.
Thunder bluff is impenetrable from ground assault but its made out of wood and can easily be burned - also no food could be a trouble ;)
MY top list will be
1. Darnassus *
2. Udercity *
3. SW+IF ( they could be counted as one cause of the tram) and Orgrimmar
* The rankings will be changed depending on the view. If you want to destroy the cities * is 1/2. However if you want to render them ineffective - UC can be burried :D one BIG grave (irony?) and Darnassus could be blocked by a naval/air force.
Thus I would vote for Orgri and SW/IF.
Army > Wall
And neither Orgri nor SW/IF could be taken by the opposite fraction cause Army < Wall+Army.
(I don't consider Cataclysmic events in my opinion. Goblins/Gnomes developing Nukes could not be for casted :D . And shamans burning IF - lava and stuff - is not expected )

Reviving an old thread :)
EDIT: sorry, you're right asakawa.
What has changed after the Shattering with city's defense? Which is now the hardest city to invade in your opinions? Which the easiest?(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##This thread may well be worth reviving with some new discussion but this is not the way to go about it.
If you don't have anything to add then your post is simply spam and falls under the .

Teldrassil is a giant tree stump. Get a torch, light it and throw it at it's foot. Fwoom. Victory.

Except it's Magical, and has been blessed by the Aspect of Life and the Aspect of Dreams.
