I'm actually also in the beta. I haven't been raiding or instancing much—don't entirely trust what kind of groups I'd get—but I've been exploring and questing a lot and have done the goblin and the new gnome start zones.

Sorry ... A lot of questions from me ...
Q. What happens to the Emblem of Heroism/Frost/Triumph/Conquest/Valor vendors?
Q. Does this mean my Hunters, Death Knights and Priests BoA level will go up from 80 to 85, automatically, even if I don't have Catacylsm the day it is released?
Q. The new middle Island ... Forgot the name ... Will we be able to fly there without getting Exhausted?
Q. Will we be able to see the changes in Catacylsm, without upgrading right away?
Q. What the Holy Fudge is happening with the Druid's Tree form? Will our heals be the same, even when we turn into Tree? Or will they be all Super-Charged really epic heals? And if so, will all the healing spells be instant for the time we stay in tree?
That's all from me at this point. Sorry!

They'll sell the same stuff for justice points.
Q. Does this mean my Hunters, Death Knights and Priests BoA level will go up from 80 to 85, automatically, even if I don't have Catacylsm the day it is released?
Nope, heirlooms stop scaling at 80.
Q. The new middle Island ... Forgot the name ... Will we be able to fly there without getting Exhausted?
The Maelstrom? That's just a giant whirlpool in the middle of the sea. You get to visit it in
one
quest and then you won't be able to get there anymore. The different continents and such are still blocked off by invisible walls.
Q. Will we be able to see the changes in Catacylsm, without upgrading right away?
Yeah, when patch 4.0.3 comes out, you'll be able to do the new 1-58 quests and play the new race/class combos, such as tauren paladin and undead hunter.
Q. What the Holy Fudge is happening with the Druid's Tree form? Will our heals be the same, even when we turn into Tree? Or will they be all Super-Charged really epic heals? And if so, will all the healing spells be instant for the time we stay in tree?
It will be a bit like Metamorphosis in the warlock demonology tree: A temporary shapeshift which grants you some "new" abillities... Except this one improves your current abillities rather than giving you new ones.
I don't play a druid myself and don't know the various improvements at the top of my head, but I think Regrowth becomes instant and Lifebloom grants all stacks at a time, or something like that. (among other stuff)

to expand on garenzo's answers, Tree form goes from being a passive transformation that gives a flat bonust to healing and reduced cost on heals, to be VERY similar to Metamorphosis.
It last 45 secs, has a 3 min CD, and while you're transformed you recieve a HUUUGE bonus to healing, and all of your heals have aditional effects that last only as long as u're transformed.
as for what your healing will be when u're not transformed, don't panic, you will be healing exactly like today (neither nerfed, nor buffed) because you will recieve the passive healing bonus automatically by speccing resto. your gamestyle won't be altered in any way now that tree of life is a CD.
the only noticeable changes are that now you heal on humanoid form (and thus you can perform at least 1 role without having to be shapeshifted) and that you dont' have unlimited mana anymore, all healers now have a very real, very latent chance of going OOM if you don't manage your heals well enough.
this goes for every single healer, not just druids
as for your other questions.....
Does this mean my Hunters, Death Knights and Priests BoA level will go up from 80 to 85, automatically, even if I don't have Catacylsm the day it is released?
sorry but this doesn't make much sence.
Heirlooms will not scale past 80 (in fact they stop working altogether when u're 80, and won't even provide the bonus exp when u're 80 or higher) but lets assume for a moment that they do work past 80.......
even if they did worked past 80, why would they scale to 85 the day cata is released? YOU would have to level to 85 for these heirlooms to scale with you, and you would need CATA to level to 85 in te first place.
=/ sorry don't wanna sound like a jerk, but that question really makes no sence.
The new middle Island ... Forgot the name ... Will we be able to fly there without getting Exhausted?
there are multiple stuff in the middle of both continents, but all of them are only seen once.
there's the island of Kezan, but that one is only visited by goblin players ,and is destroyed after you complete the quests there.
There's the lost island but that one is also destroyed and also only seen by goblin players doing their starting quests.
There's the Maelstrom wich is only seen once during a quest and never again.
as garenzo said, there's still an invisible wall between the continents and trying to fly from one to the other will get you killed due to fatige. to travel from one to the other, you must use the boats or zepelings.
Will we be able to see the changes in Catacylsm, without upgrading right away?
expanding on garenzo's answers, yes the Sundering of Azeroth happens regardless of wheter you buy the expac or not, as such all the new 1-to-60 content is given to you for free, same for the new profession, new race/class combos, and new quests, ect ect.
BUT the ability to fly in the old world, the new zones, the new dungeons, new BG's, the capacity to lvl to 85, new raids, and capacity to train your professions to 525 is only avaliable to those who buy the expantion.

q) What classes did you see doing better dps?
unholy DPS, just....... unholy DPS.
as it is my DPS as unholy was borderline 8k to 12k. Raid-buffed, against a boss, in ICC with the warsong buff.
on the PTR, against a dummy, self-buffs only, no Warsong buff, was doing over 13k, and in a simple 5man heroic was pulling over 7k.
I'd tell ya how much DPS I was doing in a raid but raiding in the PTR is a sure way to lose your sanity.
the most amazing display of incompetence is shown there, with tanks uncapable of holding aggro, or even using their CD's in a smart way, Healers who can't seem to keep the raid up, and DPS who are way too stupid to actually NOT pull aditional trash.
so....... yhea I did no raiding at all on the PTR thus I can't say how much DPS I was doing against a boss.
but in a dummy, that's a solid 12k, and in a 5man heroic (H HoR) was pulling 7k (almost 8k actually)
also, while I never made one (nor do I know how to use one) some people have said that fire mages got quite the buff, and are insane machines that make arcane look like a child's play.
bear in mind that I have NOT tested any other class so I can't say if they are buffed or nerfd or remained the same, but Unholy DPS and Firemage DPS was buffed quite amazingly.

Wanted to know if it would be worth, purely for experience, at 80 to run icc?

I saw some talents in the protection warrior tree that when you apply rend to a target and then follow up with thunderclap, it automatically spreads rend to all targets affected by the thunderclap. Has this increased ways to hold aggro or is blizz just doing because rend is kinda underused >.>?

Actually....I find soloing things, at least at the higher lvls, as destro easier because of the ability to daze ur target and burn it down rather rapidly with you and ur imp, but demonology isn't bad....i mean it's not great, but i'm no warlock expert and i really wouldn't know how to best use it, destro the rotation is pretty much the same so it's easier to do and easier to remember. And fel guard isn't that good at low lvls anyway....i've tried rolling demo on beta on a lowbie alt and the felguard really wasn't great.
here's my current build in beta:

what parts of the beta still arent complete?
Most everything isn't complete...because beta isn't finished version....but to be more specific there's raids that don't appear to be ready yet, and that's all i can think of specifically XD

they don't reclaim the city properly, only the surface of gnomer, the actual city is still under enemy ocupation, since they have the city under siege, but haven't reclaimed it, they are still the exiles.
they stop being exiles when they actually set foot inside the city and expell all enemy forces from it.

most likely yes, Crusader can proc in both hands at the same time, so does Mongoose, so does Berserking, so does Fallen Crusader.
I see no reason why landslide wound't.
unless the devs wanna break the previous pattern wich is something doubtful.

Anybody know if the "special" NPCs show up in Cata? Like
Koiter
or
Ahab Wheathoof
or other such NPCs?
