I agree with the OP, I'd like to see a source, I grow tired of these rumors.

Another thing that kinda *!@#es me off too..
The speculations says Worgen = Alliance and Goblin = Horde.
Why is that? If anything it would be the other way around.
No, it shouldn't.
Goblins are tied to the horde. They run the Zeplins, they worked with them alot, they have a small town in the Barrens, there's a Goblin quest giver in Durotar even. For the purposes of making money they stayed Neutral. Also, Gnomes are a part of the Alliance, Goblins and Gnomes are engineering rivals. They hate each other. Why would they suddenly forget that and join with each other?
Worgen: They have no ties to the Horde. Sure, there are worgen in Silverpine. But they are Humans. Only worgen at night. The Scythe of Elune summoned them here, who had the Scythe? The Night Elves, who are a part of the alliance.
Grizzle Hills: All the native humans in that area are a part of the 'Wolf Cult.' They are worgen, but serving the scourge.
So tell me, why should the worgen be horde and the Goblins be alliance?

...MMO-Champion and WoW.com say this. They have yet to brought forth any evidence other than "Our sources"
Hi, i'm gonna make up some crap and call it journalism. Please give me money.
For the record I don't doubt that Worgen and Goblins are the new races, I'm just saying that them "confirming" it without providing any REAL evidence besides "Seeding" and masks is like saying my toaster comes alive at night and tries to kill me. Yeah, I have no evidence to prove it but I can confirm by my sources that it happens.
Ever note that journalists have no problems stating that an item in the article is "from an inside source"?
Publishing misinformation to drum up ratings, while doable by large news organizations who can stand regular retractions, may be acceptable practice, but for "small" organizations like these I doubt that they would risk claiming a source without actually having one.
The reason why no one has posted a source is because Blizzard, like any major corporation, will only make major announcements like this when the marketing department says they can - and until that time, anyone quoted as a source
would
be immediately fired (and possibly sued) by Blizzard.
I'm not saying that this could turn out to be wrong - but if it is I would expect it to have been intentional misinformation on the part of the source.

Beat me to it. I don't understand why people are so shocked that these people aren't naming names. Because "real" journalists never do such things amirite?
Providing false information would only hurt the websites in the long run. It's not like they're sitting around brainstorming ideas on how to get the rumor mills churning.
So yes, they have sources. Is it possible they're still wrong? Definitely. I kind of doubt it though.

If they reveal their sources, one of the following things will happen:
1. Source gets fired.
2. Source does not get fired but no longer provides WOW.com with inside info.
Neither is ideal for WOW Insider, thus they'll not reveal their source.
Also, if it turns out they are wrong, they lose credibility, which means less people visit the site, which = less monies made. So you can bet they're not gonna post something as CONFIRMED, unless they feel that it is.

maybe they could make the worgen and the goblins start out as neutral classes and in the starting zone u could pick certain quests for the desired faction so that way the goblins neutrality in zones such as booty bay etc...wouldn't be screwed over and btw I'm a hordie and the fact that we get stupid green retards and the alliance gets furry angry werewolves of death isn't a fair trade wouldn't u agree?
Hey we've had to deal with gnomes for long time now, so if this really is going to happen then it balances the height ad/disadvantage between certain races within each faction.
Also most of what has been mentioned has been stated over and over in countless threads before.
Personally I think adding a new set of races some time in the future could be a little refreshing, but i doubt that we will be getting new races, let alone Goblins and Worgen any time soon. Also many people have forgotten that there were
4
new masks added. Just saying.

Well actually, Goblins and Worgen were the only masks added the first time. The other four were added later. ;)
