Glyph of Disease really worth it?

Pest uses blood runes, OB uses Frost/Unholy runes, how does one have anything to do with the other?
i wouldnt ever use IT again after the initial opener. I'd use a BS for blood runes against a single target and BB against groups, and OB/HB for F/U runes.
again your not making sense. please try to be more clear.

@lynri
Your example doesnt explain how you keep frost fever up on a target. You must include this to show how glyph of disease is inferior to glyph of HB.
you continue to write out rotations past the initial opener like we live in this perfect world that does not require movement, or switching targets, or using other abilities like taunts, or UA etc etc. Not to mention most people are not going to be able to remember much past their opening rotation. It may be easier like you describe while DPS'ing, but there are much more things going on while tanking that make this impractical if not impossible.
once the opener is done i think it better to just prioritize what abilities should be used before other abilities.
single target priority:
FS>OB>BS, Pest when necissary
aoe priority:
FS>HB>BB>OB, Pest when necissary
EDIT:
@Jaceb
i dont understand half of what you posted, you seem to be off topic a bit. were trying to figure out if Glyph of disease is better than glyph of HB since both revolve around refreshing diseases. Glyph of OB is completely off topic, but for what its worth, right now i plan on having both Glyph of OB and Glyph of disease, and giving up a bit of aoe threat by loosing glyph of D&D.

Well right now im leaning more towards jaceb's conclusion that both diseases are needed to tank, and thus i will go with glyph of disease. While jaceb may not find value in it, i do. I lose Glyph of D&D but my aoe threat isn't really an issue as is and its really only useful on trash pulls where it doesn't matter all that much. I really don't think glyph of D&D is such a necessity any longer. I only use it as an opener 90% of the time, and the other 10% is on trash pulls where the combination of D&D with howling blast is more than enough threat already.
Lyrni i still have yet to see you clearly and simply explain how using PS during an opening rotation and continuing it with glyph of disease while tanking as frost spec hinders threat generation over the long haul instead of just using glyph of HB to renew only frost fever and not blood plague.

my whole deal is that on any group with more than 1 mob at a time i'm using pestilence anyhow to keep diseases up on all the other targets. So for those instances it isnt just 1 less rune, its 2 less runes using glyph of disease which then gives me an extra OB, and OB>IT+PS. Id say 90% of the time i'm tanking more than 1 thing at a time. I'm not my guilds MT, so i am rarely tanking just the boss and nothing else.
