I recommend you define your terms more clearly before you continue. :)

Before a child is 18, they are their parent's property, and the same should be allowed to know if their children are going to have any genetic diseases, or how they are gonna look like. I do not think they should be allowed to change, though.

Parents don't
need
to know, but they should be allowed to if they can.
As to parents wanting to terminate, adopt, abandon, then we start into a different discussion...

I can't quite agree with this for adult onset diseases. They have no right to know their child's medical history once they turn 18, and that's essentially what genetic testing is allowing them to do.
Parents don't need to know whatever happens once their child is 18, but they have the right to know if their child is going to have a deadly disease in the future, imagine if the cure is discovered before the child turns 18, they'll be able to fix it. Without that information, the disease might strike.

Not property, responsibility.
Malgayne, how should I define my terms? I'm not so great at making debate topics not related wholly to politics.
Well, in Texas you're basically your parents' property. Your parents can legally beat you to the very edge of needing medical attention.
