The music from Portal 2/Portal and Okami/Okami-den are pretty good if you like video-game music. Otherwise, I'm more into Jazzy music like
In The Mood
.
I like music from video games, but I wouldn't add it to my iPod.
Chrono Trigger & Chrono Cross has some of the best music.
I have Halo music on mine. Imo it's the only video game music worth being there.

I realized something odd today during a conversation with my dad. I always thought of myself as a "70s music" guy, because that's the era everyone talks about in music. However, I realized that all my favorite bands from that general time period either started in the 60s and had a little bit of stuff in the 70s (like Led Zeppelin or The Doors) or started in the very late 70s at the earliest and are more associated with the 80s (like The Police and Iron Maiden). The closest thing to a 70s band I'm real into is Rush, and that's just cause they released albums throughout the decade (and even then, the best ones were from the late 70s-early 80s, IMO, like
Permanent Waves
and
Moving Pictures
).
Well, I guess maybe Jethro Tull counts. And I #$%^ing love the Tull. Well, besides that then. =P

I'm more of a modern music person. I like Muse, Radiohead, DragonForce, etc.
I like some late 90's metal bands though, like Nightwish and HammerFall.

Muse
Yes
Radiohead
@#$% yes
DragonForce
Ewww. =P
I used to hate almost all modern music, but I've been more into it as of late. The first two modern(ish) bands I got into were Queens of the Stone Age and Dream Theater (two rather different bands, I know) and from there I just started branching out. Still, to me, 90s falls under that "modern". I can't think of much that's really all that "current" that I enjoy too much (the closest being either Wolfmother or The Black Keys, really).

You don't like DragonForce? D=
's ok, I've kinda moved away from them as well. Also, I forgot to mention Rhapsody and Dream Theater as well, although I haven't listened to the latter much, I've enjoyed what I've heard. Recently, a friend played
Honour they Father
for me, and it was pretty damn amazing.
Still, my favorite bands right now are Muse and Nightwish. With those two, I don't have to listen to anything else.
