Considering he keeps getting work in the Bourne mold, it's a low possibility, but it's a possibility.

Ben Affleck is just kind of ok as an actor, but hes actually a really damn good director. Gone Baby Gone was great, and the Town was even better, Argos looking pretty good too. Hes like a younger less Jewish Martin Scorsese.

One thing I want to point out about Ledger btw, he may have said he hates comic books, but he still respects the source materiel. When he was getting ready for the Joker roll he locked himself in a hotel room for like two weeks with all these iconic Joker storys like The Killing Joke, and The Man Who Laughs, psyching himself into the roll.

The only thing I didn't like about the Nolan movies is that they left out the Oracle. Thought that'd come up in the second film. I'd also like to see Steel in Superman, but given the new Superman title, it'd might confuse people.
Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are good friends with Kevin Smith, essentially the most comic book obsessed director I know.

I'd also like to see Steel in Superman, but given the new Superman title, it'd might confuse people. Since they'd need a Batgirl first, and have to have her paralyzed by the Joker(well unless it was meant to take place in the new 52 reboot universe), Oracle was a stretch to ever showing up.

I enjoy Kevin Smith movies, and I tolerate those tools in his films...doesn't mean I like Sir Can't Act and the Scene Chewer.

LOL!
I'm kinda looking forward to a Mad Max remake. JUST to see how it'd be with better graphics. But even then, that movie was so awesome in itself, and remaking it would probably ruin it.
Robocop could be good. Maybe all Terminator Salvation/Sarah Connor Chronicles'esque.
Edit: the animated movies (Heavy Metal, Yellow Submarine) definitely don't need to be remade at all. Animation like that is a lost art.

Honestly, there isn't a single movie in there I'm looking forward to...just because so many of the remakes of the last 5 years have stunk to high heaven. I'll stick with the originals, which while they were bad at times, they were good for their day.

The only genre that seems to be immune to the "all remakes will suck" rule are westerns. 3:10 to Yuma and True Grit were both pretty good, IMHO.

So Ive been watching this movie called Far and Away. Its one of the few movies Ive ever seen where I actually liked Tom Cruise. Its pretty good, kind of a hidden gem, it never really got the reviews and such it deserved, so a lot of people just passed it over. Deffinatly worth the watch though.

Magnolia was one of my favourite films for a long time, because he plays a crazy cultist.
I'm somewhat looking forward to Mad Max, cuz my friend is obsessed with Tom Hardy and I know he'll go nuts for any movie he's in.

So I rewatched TDKR again earlier, and I gotta say even though he was only in a few scenes Michael Caine really gave an awesome preformance. Its too bad Alfred didnt get more screen time, I kind of wonder what he was up to while Bane and his merry men were running Gotham.

I dont care how cheesey people say they are, I love the Paranormal Activity movies (although the last one sucked). Its like with most horror movies they build up all this tension, and then BAM something happens that makes you jump, and lets it all out. With PA theres no jump moment, they just build up this tension and leave you with it during the whole movie, with no release. Kind of like horror movie blue balls.
Anyway yea new
trailer
Looks like we finally get to see what happens with katie and that %^&*ing baby.

i watched THE DARK KNIGHT RISES.
there was a few twists that were okay..
the movie was too short even though it was almost 3 hours.
so many characters, and each of those characters was tapped on the surface only.
felt like a big ol mess to me.
7/10

Only a few, but it's because the original movies were poor.

Dang. Total Recall gets
a negative review
. I loved the original. I hope it's good because I'm going to see it anyway.

Honestly, I can only think of two remakes in the last decade that have been good....sadly though, Hollywood is burned out and can't think of new things anyways.
Edit: The two in question being the Rob Zombie versions of Halloween.

Just watched
Dark Shadows
, and I was kinda disappointed, easily the worst Johnny Depp -movie that I've seen. It just felt as thogh they hadn't had their hearts in the making of the movie, you know? Really, the movie gave no chills, no excitement, no nothing. The jokes were bad, the story was hurrying a lot, and the bastards left and opening for a sequel :/ Almost falls in the "give me my two hours back" -category. 2/5
