I do believe this is a feature of
prat
, I think I remember it allowing "channel memory" for channels that the stock chat frame doesn't (/y, /1, /2, etc.), but I could be wrong. It might be a different mod I'm thinking of. Post again and tell me if it works, I'm not in a position to test it myself, otherwise I'd be glad to.

I first did /leave 1 /leave 2 /leave 3 back in the original WoW beta, and haven't gone back since.

If you don't want to install addons to do it for you, this does exactly what you want:
/script ChatTypeInfo={sticky=1};
Just type that and the game will remember when you use /1 /2 /3 etc

Well, the tables initialised and has its defaults set in the
ChatFrame.lua
file if that's what you mean.

Yep, that's what I was wondering. I suppose a few minutes looking through FrameXML would have done me some good before asking (but I'm lazy). Thanks.
