The basic rule for feral DPS is that until the 8% hit cap and 6.5% dodge cap (of course, you always attack from behind), hit and expertise are the best DPS stats.

Expertise cap is 6.5% for dodge. Unfortunately the US armory links do not work for me from where I am typing, so I cannot see your gear. But the principle of hit and expertise being first priorities for feral DPS is valid nevertheless.

You can get up to 223 hit rating and eat Snapper Extreme
While this is one way of doing it, I would suggest an alternative: get 2x16 hit gems somewhere and instead of the Snapper Extreme, use the Dragonfin Filet. The 40 strength scales with talents and Blessing of Kings for a higher DPS benefit ^^ 223 + 32 = 255 hit rating is close enough to the cap so you won't have to worry. And if you really want to push the cap, get an additional 8agi8hit gem and you're done. For more flexibility in gemming, I recommend that your next DPS gear focus is the Tier 7 pants. The Heroes T7 pants may be slightly inferior to those you have now, but those 2 sockets really make a difference. Struggle for the Valorous T7 legs and you're set. That is, unless you have the possibility of getting the Leggings of the Honored from heroic Sartharion 3D.
you can start to get rid of some of those hit gems and gem your gear properlyThere are nuances to this. 'Proper gemming' means whatever gem combination brings the user as close as possible to optimal performance
for his CURRENT gear
.
Example: if the user has 7% hit and has room for 2 more gems, putting 2x16str will yield lesser overall benefit than 2x16hit, since 1% hit > 32 str, because he is under he hit cap. 'Proper gemming' depends on the current gear level and desired purpose. There is no 'absolute' proper gemming.
