if theres none around theres a good reason for it.
Also a reason I don't get how you can f.ex. gem haste as a DK. No DK does it so it's bad, stupid logic but its the truth. If none does it, don't do it either.

Man,I'm with you. I have an 80 fury warrior. Contrary to popular belief, I always put out decent numbers in heroics (no raids yet for me), and its perfect for quests, I get them done faster the other specs. Hell I even enjoy fury in some BG's like AV where confusion rains and I kamikazi into a group with recklessness+ deathwish + WW for glorious pain.
Put me in a different BG or arena......im seeing the reaper in less than 4 seconds, and this with a full set of pvp gear (starter in any case). So the saying is true here, fury is sure as hell not meant for pvp. This saddens me cause I love fury more than arms.
My other spec is Prot, meant to get into groups when no dps is wanted. I will have to try Prot in pvp as it has more survivability and CC abilities, at least more than fury.
/rant over. In short, yes arms for pvp, fury (well geared for solo PvE)but not for pvp

Ok, so why would one want to roll a arms warrior?
Don't know about you but a challenging clas>faceroll clas.
Retribution paladins are boring on every field.

Trying to pvp with a constant 5% dmg-taken incease is horrible, but I want fury!
Working on getting a 2nd two-hander so I can start trying out a TG-build. I thought of one small light in the long endless darkness of the fury-spec. Intercept now has a shorter cooldown than charge. With talents and gladiator set-bonus, intercept goes down to 15seconds, whilst charge stays at 20seconds.
I wonder if a TG-spec can provide enough rage to provide for heroic strike spammage - to get more bloodsurge proccs...?
As far as arena goes, well... being arms-specced I become the nuke-target pretty often(not all the time - and specially not when I turtle up), but I imagine wielding 2x 2handers will be equal to have a skull above my head. Can perhaps be used as an advantage, I dno..
learn by doing! Trial and error - that's the way to pvp.
Forums are, much like academic repports, only good for when you need specific info about specific things under specific conditions.

I would like some insight to how much the different talents actually buff damage, burst-wise and constant-wise.
Commanding Pressence
Dual Wield Specialization
Enrage
Flurry
Improved Berserker Stance
Two-Handed Specialization
Which talents should be taken and which(if any) can be left out? Would it be optimal to have them all, even if not maxed out?

Imagine Fury before Titan's Grip. Getting Roflstomped (even harder) by Enhance Shaman. Although, I suppose that spec as well has fallen out of acclaim; they all seem to be Elemental or Restoration now.
I suppose if you had full Furious with dual Furious two-handers, you might get some rather impressive WW crits, since they are 3.60 and I believe in tandem to or greater than the highest dps weapons in the game right now. No strength though. Either that or BiS Fury gear from Uld 25 Hard Probably superior than PvP gear, since in this respect Fury is akin to suicide bombing. (I wonder just
why
they named it Death Wish?)

Would a TG-spec benefit most from the general concept of "slow mainhand - fast off-hand"? Or would I want slow weapons in both slots? As for stats, I understand that there is a 5% base-chance to miss, and that dual-wielding(with or without TG) adds another 5% chance to miss. So to completely cover that, I'd want a 10% boost to hit through stats(7% if I spec into precision). Is this correct?
I am still working on weapons before trying out any fury-build. I am no raider, and my arena teams have been kind of slacking lately, *shakes fist*, so I am far from obtaining the furious weapons. However I've been doing my dailies at the argent tournament, and I've been running Halls of Stone and Halls of Lightning on heroic mode frequently - sooner or later my labours MUST pay off! The slow-fast wpn idea I currently have in mind is main-hand
Sword of Justice
+ off-hand
Claymore of the Prophet
.
I also considered previous experiences I had with TG-builds. Lack of hit-rating has been a major problem before, and has often caused rage-starvation in pvp, so that is one aspect I hope to remedy before going at it again. The other is, being stuck in zerker stance. This is something I will work hard on learning to change.

I have this build in mind for starters when I get my hand on my second weapon. Here I choose
DW-spec
over
Enrage
. The idea is to use battlestance for opening, zerker stance for intercepts, pummels and nuking, while being able to stance-dance without loosing to much rage. Glyphed and talented overpower for some added stance-dance-nuking. 1 point in
deep wounds
simply to apply dots against stealthers.
Another option would be to use prot as a sub-tree, but I haven't considered that yet.

Fury is so bad that I had to reroll, seriously.
PvP with another class and you'll find it a lot more fun to spend some time away from the graveyard.

good luck keeping that up when you have a
15% white hit miss rate
.
Isn't the miss rate 5% with 1 weapon and 10% when dual-wielding?
