This was hilarious, so I thought I'd share it...I was farming motes of life in Zangarmarsh last night, and this enemy paladin started killing a bog lord nearby...I observed that it took him forever to down the thing, so I waited until he got that one down, and started on another one. I popped Curse of Doom on it, and then started Dotting the pallie.
Now the pallie must not have noticed the COD on the mob that was agroed on him, because he changed targets and started chasing me. I kept him at a distance with fear, Death coil, etc, waiting for the COD to do it's trick (I popped a DOT on the bog lord to bring it down enough) and Poof!
Paladin Versus Doomguard: it did not go well for the paladin.

The funniest moment for me was, when killing mobs inside the lake of Coilfang Reservoir, an enemy warrior appeared with some hostile actions. I'm an undead warlock, so I can stand underwater forever. But he...
Well, it was in TBC, so I started to run away and then, after half minute, I started to use CC to don't allow him to take some breath. He died. And never tried to attack me again.

Back in TBC I was in Darnassuss for some reason and so I leave the place and start grinding things near a drop off of Teldrassil. A level 70 warrior challaneged me to a duel to see if i could crit him. I thought he was going to attack so I instantly started spamming fear. It works 2nd try and the warrior runs off the edge. I am whispered later by the warrior with him saying 'I can't believe I lost to a level 9 warlock'

Yesterday, I did Naxx HC for the first time with my alt, a druid boomkin(my main is warlock though). We struggled a bit against Thaddius, which isn't the easiest boss to kill in a pug indeed. Of some reason, no one left even though we died 3 times, and then we took a break to repair and stuff. Then, our warlock(there was only one) was supposed to make a summoning stone for those whom had used their HS, but of course, no shards left(I know that feeling :P ).
Because of this, those of us who was left in Thaddius' room, we had to help him gain a shard or two by killing any of the elites that was left. We went for one of the mobs, and started to nuke it, but no one of us noticed a pat of some wierd jumping mobs, and even though we was 15 people or so there, the pat jump straightly for the warlock and killed him, which resulted in 0, zero, nada shards :P
Not that this was any problem. We had no problem killing the mobs and ressurect the dead ones, but it was quite funny :P
Wheres did yous learns your english?
and even though we was 15 people
My favorite part.

I had my demonic circle on the ledge of a cliff just messing around and this noob dwarf comes by and sees me jump off the cliff and teleport back into the circle. He thought he could do the same thing if he jumped from the circle. Massive luls

and you didnt just duel the warlock and let him farm shards that way, why? (lol I'm gonna feel really dumb if you cant duel in an instance)
but anyway,
My story isnt really warlock specific but,
When I was leveling in Nagrand (i was level 68) I was heading back to the Horde base when a level 72 NE DK started following me. I didnt think much of it because I wasnt flagged for pvp and wasnt about to be duped into being a free kill. The whole while he is /spit, /slap, /taunt (the usual b.s.)
Well the quest I was turning in was away from the guards so he follows me into the base and kills my quest giver as I am trying to turn it in. Rather irritated I shoot off a /spit.
While I have him targeted I notice the hunter target debuff show up on him, a second later a giant fireball falls from the sky and knocks out half his health. Needless to say the my Felguard was all over him faster than you can say intercept. Whilst he was stunned I was able to get all my dots on him and as luck would have it my shadow trance procs. All that was left to do was /violin and giggle like a school girl while I logged out.

Level 60 soloing Maraudon bosses (Princess, Goblin, Rotgrip). Rotgrip takes a lot of practice to get right. It involves running over large portions of the dungeon around trash you haven't cleared (he doesn't aggro them) with curse of doom. It takes a couple dooms to get him down, and if you aren't very careful you can die very easily.
Normally, if you do your job perfectly, including some fancy jumping off of bridges (you don't have to do any wall walking or crazy exploits, just normal kiting him up big ramps and jumping off) then you have a little wiggle room at the end.
Unfortunately when I was teaching myself how to do this perfectly and quickly, I hit a few snags here and there and my wiggle room was gone. At the end of the fight, I had Doom ticking down, he runs down a ramp towards a pool of water you're standing in and you just shadow bolt/dot/drain whatever you possibly can to get him low enough that doom will kill him before he gets to you.
The first time I ever killed him this way, he got all the way to me at the end and I barely survived with about 500 HP left. And then Doom did what it does, summons an aggressive Doom Guard, who quickly finishes me off.
Most hilarious time I ever got myself killed.

funniest warlock moments for me wasn't even about me, it was about a Gnome warlock in AV, i was in the Icewing tower trying to take it back from the horde, this gnome was helping me and there is an Orc shammy in the tower who waited until we got close to the edge and used that damn lightning spell that makes the massive knockback. i was lucky that i was behind a wall. the gnome was not, he flew right passed me and while he was on the air he teleported back > shadowflamed > conflaged and the shammy was toast.
i /kneeled for the little guy especially when he /spit and said "you just got owned by a flying gnome"

I went OS 25 as a destro lock once. i used CoD on one of the trash mobs pack, the tank marks one i CoD another. The one i CoD was the last target. Then he gets low on hp and my CoD kills him and a DG is summoned:P not my funniest moment but i guess its pretty rare that it happens

A 25-man raid couldn't kill a pack of trash mobs in less than a minute?
