So, I've been trying to get seriously into Frost PvP, and it's going fine just now. I have one question, though, and I think it's quite a fair one.
Supposing my parter doesn't really use DoTs, why would I get
Glyph of Poly
? Why shouldn't I take
Glyph of Fireball
instead?
Glyph of poly would also get rid of any ignite ticks on a target, should you find yourself in need of a sudden "ohsh--" cc. But either way, I would think the choice is yours.

I would actually use glyph of mana gem or icy veins if you don't need glyph of polymorph. I just never get enough brain freeze procs, and face it, without FoF, that fireball isn't going to crit.

Well the polly glyph will remove any dots they cast themselves. This includes the deathknights self-dot, and apperantly a priest's SW:death. Meaning they stay sheeped.
Saying that, i don't really have a problem with fireball's dot. I save brainfreeze if i'm just going to be sheeping them the next second anyway.
And as the poster above mentioned. Mana gem is probably a better choice, or icey veins. 5% crit on a spell that crits for snuff (only 150%, which really suffers vs resiliance).

I wouldn't take Glyph of Polymorph in your situation, but I also definitely wouldn't take Glyph of Fireball.
