Frost Presence mod alert?

Im sure this has happened to everyone at least once.

You start tanking something, and then 5 seconds later you die and your thinking "wtf, why did you let me die?" when you notice it, your still in unholy/blood presence. Typically for me its unholy cause it lets me run back after a wipe a little faster.

I've tanked T6 content in BC with a prot war, and before that as a bear tank. But in all those instances its very obvious if your not in your "tank form". For a druid, if you dont look like a bear your not in the right form. For a warrior your main shortcut bar changes depending on what stance your in.

But for a DK, the only difference is that one small box in the bottom left hand corner of your screen is highlighted, and the two next to it arnt. It seems like its very easy to miss, and i've missed it a few times now.

Anyone know of a good way to make sure your in frost presence before you pull groups? Other than just try to remember to check it every time? It just seems like such an easy thing to not notice.

i use smart buff to handle this.
i use it to handle my warlock (fel armour, spellstone), druid (GotW) and DK (horn of winter). the fact that it can also be used to remind me if i stayed in unholy after a corpse run is just a bonus.

I just look at my health before I pull to a) make sure I am topped off (or close to) and b) make sure my max health looks right (frost presence, buffs haven't fallen off, etc...). Only once have I *almost* pulled while not in frost presence.

Kinda like remembering to take off your clothes before you get in the shower. or take the parking brake off before you drive your car.

Its actually nothing like those at all. Since those are obvious and this is not.

The simple solution is to roll a real class. As a warrior or druid, it is obvious because the abilities you need to use to tank are only available in a specific form or stance.
