Flask Effect on Tooltip

Hello,
I got Alchemy recently on my raiding Shaman, and with Mixology, the Flask of the Frost Wyrm is supposed to give more than 125 Spellpower, if I read it right. But on the tooltip, it still says 125. I must admit I didn't check with my spellpower to see if it increases more than it says on the tooltip because of the Mixology. But can anyone confirm the amount increased by Flask of the Frost Wyrm with Mixology?
Thanks in advance.

Mixology does give you the increased effect, the poster above me is wrong. It does NOT show up in the tooltip, but before you take the flask look at the stat it is suppose to increase (spellpower for example), write the number down, now take the flask, check the number, you get the improved amount, tool tip just does not show it. You ALSO get the extra hour when taking them. :-) It confused me for a long time until I checked my numbers before and after.

Mixology only increases the duration of potions and flasks etc.
not their effect
Wrong
. Mixology will also increase the effect of any elixir/flask you
know how to make
. Also, the tooltip does not reflect the added bonus. If you take a look at your spell power without and with the flask, you should see a difference of more than 125.

As long as you know the recipe, you should be getting the mixology benefit.

The problem is player buffs/debuffs are static. The game does not update them based on your current abilities. I don't know what the exact reason is. It has been like this since launch.

Thanks for all the replies. Thats a relief off my chest (yes I'm still lazy/forgetful to check the spellpower increase ^_^!)
