thats more down to being irresponsible though.
I figure if guns can be legal than fireworks should be too. By the same reasoning that you wouldnt allow a child to use a gun (at least unsupervised) then you also wouldn't let them use a firework either.
Well, fireworks are sold to children. They're used for celebration, anyone can get hold of a firework and hurt themselves.
Not everyone can get a gun just like that.
I guess that was kinda my point.
You want fireworks to be legal? then regulate it the same as you would with any other dangerous substance (guns, alcohol, cigarettes etc).
You just give them to any old Tom, D
i
ck or Harry and of course its going to end up in childrens hands
No, see, the way I look at it: guns provide a benefit worth the risk, fireworks don't.

coming from the state of virginia i think it is stupid that i cant celebrate my freedom in the state where my country pretty much started.
I find it is impossible to celebrate without fireworks also. I mean... if our founding fathers knew we wouldn't have had fireworks, they wouldn't have given thier lives for our freedom.

Mass. Virginia Penn. and... hmmm... those were the big ones.
I choose to ignore that minor blunder and simply mock his demand for fireworks.

Might I add that the U.S. wouldn't be the U.S. without Baltimore? We helped by killing off hundreds maybe even thousands in the Baltimore Riots.
The ones we killed off were the redcoats of course...

Just do what the UK has done, put an age limit on buying fireworks. Don't ban them completely, but just make it so like only people who are old enough to be responsible to buy them. Then they can judge if the younger people can use them too.
OT: Boodle. Your name... Wow. brothermuch?
