I got a new copy of FF7, never opened, for 50 bucks off of Ebay from a video game store.

You should have seen the prices on an original copy during the 10th anniversary. They were going for 150$+
And this makes me wish I that I owned a PS3.

Its a classic. I have Chrono Trigger, final fantasy 4 and 6, Kirby Super Star, and Super Mario Allstars on the SNES, great games.

That works too, but I would rather have it on my big-screen HDTV.

You can use cables to hook up the PSP to a TV and get pretty strong quality. I mean, it wouldn't be as good as a PS3's graphics, but assuming that the PS3 version of FF7 doesn't have any graphic upgrades over the original, it would be exactly the same.

Well, that would save my wallet from wanting to kill me... I shall ponder on this further.

Hey, would you look at that. It's downloading now.
Also, the PS3 does a minor tune up on games from the older systems, and non-blu-ray discs.

I haven't owned a console on years. I play all my older games on my PC with an emulator.
