To people who are confused here:
"Raid Roll" is when the Raid Leader does:
/roll 10 (or /roll 25, depending on how many people are in the raid)
And it'll do a random roll between 1 and 10 (or 25). Whatever number comes up, the raid leader will give it to the person in that raid slot. (IE, if you're the 2nd person in Group 2, you're #7. If you're the 4th person in Group 5, you're #24. ect.)
From what I read here, the Raid Leader was about to do a Raid Roll, but someone else did it first, and the Raid Leader decided to go with that roll instead. There was no foul play here.

Ahh, that explains everything.
In my four years of WoW, I've never, ever seen a single raid roll.
It's a lot better than having a roll for every character in a huge raid (10, 25 or in the old days even 40 people). I know my eyes bled a lot less in AQ40 after we switched to raid roll for the bug mounts.

Meh, /roll 1-25 is easy enough for me.

Evzal: I would keep the mount. Their was a roll... granted not the RL.. but a roll none the less. If the raid leader gave it to you then you won it.
Moral: Keep the mount
