Enchanting is actually one of the cheapest to level up. Everything you craft is resellable.

the hardest part is to reach 350 enchanting since the enchants until that level cannot be sold(most of the times).if you are high level the best way i used to do is to run low level instances.i runned a lot of times deadines,sfk,wc...stratholme.easy way to get "tones" of green and blue items.and you will not spent a gold :) after 350 there are a lot of enchants that sell quiet well(use vellum and put scrolls in Ah),choose to make scrolls those who give mana, health,ap.

I did it as I leveled and I'm barely starting to spend any money trying to level enchanting. As I leveled I would disenchant all the gear I didn't need from quests and dungeons and used the mats to level it. I'm now 410 in it. If your level 80 and you want to level it I don't think there is any way around spending a lot of money.

how do you get your enchanting over 300. Im lvl 80 and its maked at 300. Is there a book that I have to get like first aid or something?
To learn a profession past 300, you must go to Honor Hold (or the Horde equivalent if you're Horde) in Hellfire Peninsula, Outlands. That will take you to 375.
Then you must go to the main quest hubs for your faction in either Borean Tundra or Howling Fjord to get it to 450.
