Hunters just forget because if you run out of ammo while in an instance then you become useless.
...
If you let that happen....Why are you playing a hunter?

Topic creator:
I almost thought this was a joke topic based on the hilariously inaccurate generalizations made. On a whim, I checked your post history:

I'm not trying to be overly harsh, but based on your posting it's clear you aren't enjoying the game, so I don't know what you expect people here to do for you. You seem to see the bad side to every class instead of making the most of their good sides. If you are having this big of a problem with WoW's class system, this game probably isn't for you.
On the subject of Frost Mages:
I have a 67 mage, who leveled as frost all the way into Outlands. I only recently dual specced into Arcane to try something new. Let me assure you,
Frost damage does not suck
. I think you are getting confused with raid specs versus leveling specs. When people are saying the frost does bad damage, they are referring to raiding. Raiding has little margin for error. Fire and Arcane are preferable for raiding at this point because you can do way more damage in less time with less effort.
Frost does not have "bad" damage for leveling or 5 man instances
. I never had problems with damage in either case. You get a lot of fun abilities like Improved Blizzard, Ice Nova, a Shatter, which when used together can mow down lots of enemies at the same time. I suggest you read up on Frost AoE grinding to get an idea of what I'm talking about.
Why would they say Arcane sucks if they have never played a Mage?
I don't know, you seem to make sweeping generalizations against Frost, when it's clear you've never played it.
Whatever happened to your Elemental Shaman you started several months ago?
I killed that Shaman off, they didn't seem to have any crowd control methods as Elemental. The biggest problem is that if your playing a class that can heal, then every often you will get a whisper of someone saying "Can you heal for "X" with us", I've had this problem all the time, I have a Balance Druid and I keep getting asked this.
Back to the topic of Frost Mage, it seems rather costly to level as frost and then become Fire/Arcane just to do instances and we didn't always have dual spec, we used to have to keep wasting gold just to change to a viable spec and it's more stupid it costs 1000 gold, that's some grinding for gold there.
& last but not least I have an even greater problem, I am disliked on the WoW forums and in-game. I was planning to transfer to a different EU server (one that's pve), and I want to switch back to Ally since BE have ruined the Horde, not sure on which server to go to but even if I do that, I'll still be hated and be alone... =(
P.S. I'm really sorry for the past posts, I guess I'm a really unlucky person.

I have played just about all ranged classes (not all specs though), and I have to say, none of them were actually boring.
But really, all dps are they same, they got a main spell they like to use, and others they use when the planets allign :P. With spriest and aff locks getting a fair buff next patch (dots scale with haste) then there dps should go up a fair amount.
So my advice would be to try em all to 30ish and see from there. OR even take one to 80, even if you dont like it, and farm badges for heirlooms and gold for mounts to level the one you do like faster.
Well the reason I say Priests suck is because at level 9 or 10 I think, I can't kill Hogger on my own...that's not fair, why do all the other classes can easily kill him while Priests can't?

Hogger is a level 11 elite. Not many characters can solo elite creatures at or near their level. This is nothing unique with priests. I couldn't solo Hogger on my level 12 mage. Instead, I waited a couple of levels, came back, and killed him easily. Are you seriously discounting Priests because they can't solo boss creatures?
By the way, you can level a mage in any spec. I know someone who leveled all the way up to 80 strictly as Arcane, and this was before the arcane was buffed to make that more viable. It was slow going, but they enjoyed it so it didn't matter to them.
And as I said before, you don't need to be Arcane or Fire to do instances. Hell, with the next patch, the Frost tree is getting buffed so it's getting closer to becoming a raid viable spec again.
Please explain what you are looking for in a class, otherwise this is turning into a massive whining topic about how nothing works precisely the way you want it to.
I think your post has helped me decide as you say you can level as any spec, well I can remember leveling as a Balance Druid since level 10 rather than the common Feral method. Because you say you shouldn't base a class because of elite mobs, I'm looking for one that has the least problems against melee enemies, as a Balance Druid I couldn't kill Paladins and Death Knights and this was bothering me. Well for very high pure damage I think I'll go for the Mage, then you won't get the annoying "Will you heal please".

Unfortunately PvP isn't balanced around 1v1 and
certainly
not while leveling, so don't expect to be able to kill DKs and paladins.
Also, not
all
specs are viable for leveling, as you seem to have taken out of Guitar's post.
For example, no one wants to level as a healer, it's do-able but the dps spec of that class will certainly be much quicker in most cases. Other examples, here's one that fits you - balance druid vs feral druid. With a balance druid you might need to sit and drink after every group of mobs, which vastly slows the leveling process where as with a feral, you just need to pop a heal and then continue on because you get mana back with ILoTP. With the new PS buff especially, leveling is easier than ever.

I'm starting to think you're just a troll. This is what convinced me.
I'm stuck then, I don't like Melee Classes due to them being very hard to play on pvp and therefore I can't proceed with WoW. =(
Melee hard to PvP with? Right. Based on all the completely ridiculous (and wrong) blanket statements you've made about the game either you are a troll, or are so misinformed about so many aspects of the game that nothing which is said in this thread can help you.

Awww Yuri :(
Sad to see people giving you grief here too.
Here you are looking for direction and advice, and people are being very mean. Shame on them!
I roll characters for novelty reasons. My main troll hunter because I wanted to use bows (up until Northrend, where there are none except for end game). Fire mage because I wanted to throw fireballs. Ele shammy because I want to Thunderstorm opposite faction, and when the patch/expansion comes out I'll roll a balance troll druid because I like moonkins.
I got my belf fire mage to 56 before I deleted and 'quit' WoW >.>
He was the most fun I'd ever had. Pyroblast is well worth the casting time, especially in world pvp when you catch someone unawares. I tell you, the lols come quick and fast when that draenai shammy 3 levels higher than you sees his health drop to 30%.
He also seemed to be more survivable than my current 30 ele shammy. Especially with the snares and CC. Ele shammy opens at range then stays stationery and bashes mobs in the kisser with a mace.
Don't lose hope Yuri. There is still much more enjoyment to be had in WoW. I suggest you roll a fire mage, and stick with it. It begins to get fun at late 20's to 30's. In instance groups, fire mages also keep the tank busy trying to hold aggro :p
My personal life recently reminded me that people can give you wildly differing advice, but in the end you need to do what you feel is right :)

like...seriously? just check your quiver from time to time, you can carry a metric crap-ton of ammo in there, just restock every time you go to town if you're really worried
What and waste all my bag slots?
You mean the whole 2 it takes to carry 2k bullets/arrows? I use more slots on potions/elixirs and food than I do on ammo.
And honestly, it sounds to me like you're either tired of the game, or you just don't understand the mechanics of the classes that well.
If it's the former, by all means, take a break. I know I've had weeks where if I spent one more second looking at the screen, I was going to smash it.
If it's the latter, find a guildie or a friend who knows the ins and outs of their class, and have them roll around with you for awhile to teach you.
