2 different classes seems a bit much for me right now but would love some pointers on addons or such. i know of dual-boxing.com or whatever and they have good forums and a wiki but some other tips would be cool

I agree with double elemental shamans. Been leveling up my shaman as elemental and its really just hitting LB over and over.

If you know how to get add ons easily enough and know roughly have an idea of how to customise them, then I highly suggest; a good action bar (Dominos or Bartender) a good quest add on (Questhelper or Carbonite). The rest is realy just preference for leveling.
:)
GL and have fun!

You failed at playing one character?
But seriously - and I apologize for my blatant dislike of multi-boxers, but I fail to understand the attraction of playing two or more simultaneously in terms of game-play. Technically I suppose there is an attraction for some people. Is that what motivates multi-boxers? Inform me and perhaps I will understand.

I've played WoW since the release of WoW in the EU.
I've managed to get one character to end level once each Expansion. Mage in Vanilla, Mage in TBC and a DK in WotLK.
Multibox is another way to level and keeping it more interesting at the same time. That you gain additional characters is a bonus as well, since you have one for example pvp and one for pve. Or one for healing and another for DPS. And so on.

2 x ele shammies was my first exp at this, lot of fun.
Though 1 hunter w/pet, and a ele shammy would be good, you could almost solo instaces.
