Here
is a dual-wield healing spec I just mushed together.
I tried to get nice talents but seeing as I have no idea about Shaman healing, I'd like some feedback on how to improve it.

I already know these things, this is just a gimmick thing I'm doing.
If you're not going to help me with what I'm asking I'd like you to not post at all.
Seriously, if I wanted to heal normally, I wouldn't waste my time making this thread and would read some others.

The only thing a dual wield healing spec is good for is chain heal. Your other heals aren't going to be nearly as strong as they would with a more traditional healing spec. You're pretty much gonna be spamming chain heal on the raid.
That's 4/5ths the point of this.

Situationally DW healing will trump the conventional healing specs. Fights where you predominantly cast CH will definitely yield better results than your RT/CH/LHW rotations. I'm not a big fan of the DW healing spec since I like the versatility of the full resto spec.
Number crunchers have worked out about a 85% uptime on EL with the DW spec. This may however just fall into overheal if you have other good healers in your raid.
and sartharion if everyone gets hit by wave.
Hate to say it mate but if anyone in your raid gets hit by the wave they need to be slapped. With Shadron up it's about a 100% chance you're dead if a wave hits you.

With that new off hand DWing could be interesting as both resto and Ele, but seeing as Earth Shield is probably one of the best passive abilities in the game (IMO) you'd still be giving up a lot.

actualy i take back my comment, this spec IS now viable. in the new patch this dagger is introduced

, which as u can see is labeled as ONE handed which makes the DW spec very viable for a resto shaman basing his heals on pure Sp and not talent/skills. Now although this is introduced i just don't know if i would want to try this spec, it just seems to flawed without earth shield still....but again thats my 2 cents
It will be changed.
Every big patch with new items has spellcaster weapons as one-hand and they eventually get fixed.
Or have you read somewhere this will stay one handed?
