Dual-Spec: ? + Resto

My Shaman is nearing level 30, and he's currently Enhancement. Now, my alt, level 31, is a Priest, and he's specced Disc/Shadow, which works well (one for healing, one for damage).
I ask whether I should have my Shaman dual-spec into Elemental or Restoration.
Elemental is great for PvE (due to the other 4 members of your group crowding around the enemy, sometimes it's hard to get some good hits in as Enh) and PvP (PvP is largely about snares and roots, so it's good to be able to deal significant damage even outside of melee range.). But it's kinda redundant to spec into two DPS specs, isn't it? (Truth be told, I've never actually played a Mage, Warlock, or a Rogue long enough to get to Dual-Spec)
Restoration is very useful, and groups always need a healer. I even have some armor and shield with high +Int and +Spirit just for that purpose. But healers don't do very well in PvP, do they? I mean, they're healers, so they probably don't fare very well against players who have specced into a DPS spec.
Or should I forget Enh entirely and go Ele/Resto?

Yes its true, Two dps specs are kinda redundant, but if you enjoy both, play both. It all comes down to this basically. Healing in pvp is actually kinda great. I have not really pvp much in mop, but in cata, resto shamans were very hard to kill. no you cant do the damage of a pure dps class so trying to actually kill something is hard, but keeping your partners alive is very important, and can be a game changer.
Now a question on one of your comments you said as enhancement it can be hard to get good hits in with other melee crowded around, Not sure what you meant. It doesn't matter how many people are around the target, it doesn't affect your hits whatsoever.
Hope this helps

Go whichever you want.
Do you want to heal? Go resto. Want to melee for a change? Go ench.
To be honest, if you think speccing two DPS specs is redundant you probably already know what you will spec into already.
ENHANCEMENT not enchantment.
That being said, my shaman rolls ele/enhance because it is 2 totally different play styles even though they are both DPS. Sometimes I like to be in somethings face bashing it to death with my maces. Other times, I like to stand back and just melt things with Lava and Lightning.
The flip side of that going resto, if you ever want to go ele, it is just a few pieces of gear to swap around since spirit gives shaman hit for ele.

I didn't think it did, but when you have 2 Pandaren Monks and a Draenei Paladin standing around a mob, it's a little tricky to get your Flurry going and use your Shocks.

Well, Ele/Resto sounds very appealing, but being a Dwarf Shaman...it feels right to sometimes heal, but more often smack around enemies with dual maces.

You do realize that there can be 10000000000000000 people around a mob, and you can still stand behind it and use your abilities? If not, then hey, guess what? YOU CAN!
As long as you are in range of the mob, your abilities will act the same if there is no one else near it or everyone on the server is near it. Please for the love of Barry's cat...just no.
And flurry is a passive, so its not something you do....

How so? Please, explain. (Enh/Resto here, no issues.)

Yeah I think we've spun off the realm of "Keyboard Clownboy" and into the RP realm.
