So..... I've made enough progress in the rehab sessions that I can somewhat walk on my own, even if its slowly. I'll have to use a cane for a few months though, and here's the kicker, my brother suggested I get one of those sword-canes :P
I'm seriously considering it.
Ever read
this
?
Cool story.

Are there any laws in Venezuela about concealed melee weapons? Here in Slovakia, you are not allowed to carry a melee weapon unless you are a member of a certified sports group that specializes in training with said melee weapons, and you can only have the weapon with you on your way to the training session, or performance, and on your way back. So even people who do historical fencing can not carry their swords "just for show". Knives are only considered a melee weapon if they have a blade that is more than 15 cm, or something like that, I think. Would suck if people were getting penalized for carrying smaller knives lol, because I only know a few men who don't carry at least one.

Given all the fuss there is about guns over here, surprisingly no, there are no laws against melee weapons. You can walk freely on the streets with 4 machetes strapped to your body and you'll be fine.
I own a tribal hunting knife, used for skinning boars, got it on a trip I made to the forest of the state of Amazonas when I was a teen. More than a knife, that thing is almost a short sword, and I've never gotten in trouble for carrying it with me everywhere

I highly doubt that. You will most likely die couse of blood loss. Other could be that if I stab you from behide your lungs wont survival and maybe heart either if I know where to stab. And if I stab you and I mange to hit between your thoracic vertebras and damage your spinal cord I bet you can't walk anymore if you stay alive. So no you wont be fine.
I don't think you understood what he meant.

I said "
Strapped
" as in held to your body via the straps on the holsters.
case in point.

You completely missed what rank was saying, and your knowledge of killing techniques is also obviously very lackluster.

No. But I am pretty hard to scare.

Yes you said strapped and I say stabed.
Problem?
Everything.
I said "you can walk with 4 machetes strapped to your body" you said "you'd die of blood loss" then I respond "I said strapped, not stabbed" and your reply is "I said stabbed you said strapped. Problem?"
I dunno what language we're speaking here, but apparently it aint english.
Also I feel sorry for the guy in the picture if he falls. That chest aint gonna protect him. Also I bet it is quite heavy.
Not really, that's what the leather holsters and trenchcoats are for. If you have a heavy build and the total weight of your body is higher than the total combined weight of the knives and blades, you can get up with no problem. If you are a scrawny, skinny, shorty, little wimp, I'd say its a bad idea to carry that much metal on you indeed.
Edit: Thror wouldn't it be a bit scary if I knew everything about killing techniques?
I know almost everything about killing techniques and combat techniques both with knives, machetes, shivs, and unarmed combat, and put most of this knowledge to use for 2 years in the most hardcore federal prison on this side of the world. I'm only scary if you threaten or imply a threat to my family. Otherwise, I'm a harmless, chubby, jolly, videogame ultra-nerd that wouldn't hurt a fly.
And as Thror said, most of what you said is highly inaccurate.

Machete would end up banned in the US.....I am pretty sure that would be considered a "high capacity" trenchcoat.

Yeah. Moral is pretty low. Wish we could discuss the issues at the root of it. But we aren't allowed to. Brilliant, no?
Edit: Patty will be back.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##ElhonnaDS##DELIM##If you'd like to start a thread regarding suggested changes to moderation policy in the Wowhead Feedback section of the forums, please feel free to. Asakawa posted a while back that such a thread would be completely within the bounds of that forum page. It would be a good place for people to suggest what they feel does and does not work about the current forum rules, and make suggestions. Just a fair warning, though, that any name-calling, singling each other out or insults in such a thread, or general aggression in the thread, would not really be appropriate for the Feedback forums, and could get the thread locked. But if people would like to address certain rules that they feel are restrictive or hurt morale, or things that should be moderated and are not in general terms, and why they feel that way, that would be a good place to do it. But, as Asakawa said, we often get heated e-mails from people who tell us both that we are not being hard enough on certain things, and that we're being overly hard on those same things, so you'll likely have a lot of conflicting opinions on what ought to change.

HsR, I was just looking through the RB 2.0 the other day and reminiscing with XD4000 about the Union of Soviet Socialist Randomness.
I miss that thread =/

Hahah yes! It made me sad when they locked it. I totally wanted it to keep going. It would have been a force to be reckoned with!
