So, how is life everyone?
So... Much... Time. No training does that to you.

Good. I need a job. And a license. And a car. And a cellphone. And the money to pay for a cellphone for my girlfriend.

No, don't do that. I highly, highly recommend against that.

Other than the problems it'd cause were we to break up, why not?
Not that I'd be able to do it if I wanted to, anyway, I'm just curious.

It sets a poor precedent when one partner sets up to pay a recurring bill for the other. If you were getting her just the phone, as a present, it's one thing. But to sign up to pay a recurring bill seems...like one person is expected to be providing for the other. Which, if you're married or living together and agree to do so one person can raise kids, write their novel, keep a giant house clean or because they have some kind of disability, that's more than fine.
But between two able-bodied adults, who aren't living together or planning a life together, for one to take on bills (and a phone is a basic bill) for the other sets the stage for someone getting taken advantage of as time goes on.

I concur, it's often a bad idea to put a "girlfriend/boyfriend" on a cell phone plan or any other bill if it's not necessary. An exception to this risk, in my opinion, is if there isn't a contract involved and if anything were to happen you could simply cease responsibility of it.

I like how I'm perpetuating racism in Hollywood because I don't think Johanna being cast as a white person when her ethnicity was completely ambiguous is actually that big a deal. GG tumblr.

Who is Johanna?
Also, you should tell them that it's a name with Latin and Greek originations, and all the famous people who have it now are Swiss, Swedish, German, Icelandic, etc.

Tell them sometimes, it's ok to be white.

She is a character in the Hunger Games. Her race is never even mentioned in the books, at all. Her skin tone, never. Yet her not being a black or asian is
so
racist, apparently. Instead of weighing the actress playing her based on her merit, most the criticisisms I've seen are based on her skin tone and "white washing".

I know. I was sheltered from the "social justice domain" until like a couple of weeks ago. I REGRET EVERYTHING.

Think those complaining need to go back and look at the first movie;
District 7 candidates
. As for Johanna; I always thought of her as being white anyways, since they speak about her like she's the ultimate skank/sex machine character....but just like those who complained because Rue wasn't the blonde white little angel, people's stupidity is just too much.

No, this is like the opposite of the whole Rue debacle. Everyone who's a protagonist in THG except Peeta should be a "person of colour", oviously.
