Having raided almost all the raids (Didn't do NAXX at 60, Sunwell at 70 And any of the new stuff beyond the first tier at 85) I still think Karazhan is my favorite raid. It felt like a location, rather then just a series of fights strung together.
AQ 20 for some reason I always enjoyed a bunch. ICC was a bit of a disappointing, especially the Lich King, his fight was very anti-climatic, it just wasn't very cinematic or anything, I always felt like there should have been this whirling blizzard at the top of ICC while you fight him. Gunship battle was interesting.
Guess I'm just not really a fan of Tank and Spank fights.
I look forward to killing Deathwing at some point when I get around to it. I should go back and kill Ragnaros again then my WoW Raiding would have come full circle.
You hated Lich King and loved Gunship?
What is
wrong
with you?
Also Lich King was anything but tank n' spank.
I didn't say I loved gunship, I said it was interesting.
Lichking really just came down to if you had any idiots who insisted on standing in defile. I spent like 2 months wiping on 25man Lichking, went in on 10man without the guild idiot, and killed him on our second try. Fights that allow 1 person who isn't the tank to get everyone else killed are stupid.
I also felt the fight made him seem uncharacteristically weak.
The end of MC when Ragnaros bursts out of the lava and is like the biggest thing you've ever seen in the game, that was epic. Fighting C'thun, a giant eyeball that shoots lazerbeams at the end of AQ40 was epic. Fighting the upper torso of Kil'jaden as he tries to claw his way into our world looked epic (Never got to do it) Having a multi-stage fight where you need to fly to, ride on, cripple and finnaly kill deathwing looks goddamn epic. Fighting some guy at the top of his tower (god knows why we couldn't take the airship all the way up) and all he can be bothered to do is send some ghouls at you, and then have some valks drop you off a ledge. The only hard part of that entire fight was Defile, and there was nothing epic about defile, it just a puddle of goo he put down.
Nope sorry, that's about as interesting as the Kel'thuzad fight, and he was just a lackey.

Plus, the Lich King just lost his luster after the constant taunting you had to endure all through out Northrend.

Hi! I'm working on a new game project, if you wanna check it out.
Youtube: eOYJIdkHhs4
What's the name of the project? Are you the only one working on it? What kind of game is it? Do you intend on hanging out on wowhead offtopic beyond posting this youtube link?
Considering the person in question didn't even bother with an answer, I think you can make a qualified guess.

I concur with Doc. The game is... it's not even a game.

Hi everyone.
Good morning, afternoon, evening, or night, depending on where you are. Or, if you're in space where there isn't really day and night, hello.
Oh and Adams, following this comment:
Actually, your argument has so many holes in Sold, you can drive an aircraft carrier through it.
the only thing I thought reading the following replies in the thread was "CARRIER HAS ARRIVED" from Starcraft, over and over. And I'm still hearing it inside my head. Damn

Right, you see him constantly all through Northrend, and when you finally fight him I didn't feel he warranted all the build up.
I think the problem is that he was Less of a fighter, and more of a commander. His strength came from his enormous army. I feel that the final fight with him should have had way way more adds.
It was super easy, but I also liked the fight with Valithria Dreamwalker. As a healer it was interesting to go into the dream world and fly all over the place collecting orbs, and then reemerge and drop like the most ludicrous heals ever.
I guess I prefer fights that are either very epic in scope, or feature a very unique mechanic. The exception is I dislike fights that involve vehicals, because then I feel like I'm not even playing my character anymore (See first boss of Ulduar, and Last phase of Malygos). I like the idea behind the Malygos fight, I think I would have switched out the dragons, and just had everyone on those hover disks from phase 2. That way you're still fighting him in like the infinite expanse of his weird space realm, but also you still feel like you're the one doing something.

Hey MyTie, regarding the Education thread, I just wanted to say that I felt that asking for clarification was a safer thing to do, because just like you I am more familiar with the systems present in my own country than I am in yours. I didn't mean to come off as lazy, not interested in reading up on the subject, but since I am not a hundred percent clear on how the U.S education system(s) differ from the swedish ones, I figured I might as well ask.
And, for the record, i didn't report you - the sarcasm was obvious.
I was thinking you might've missed this post. It's quite all right, though, I do like to think I have a somewhat thick skin, and the reply was definetly warranted. No harm done. I'll drop a reply when I can find some time; it's an interesting subject.

ok its official, chiropractics have MAGIC HANDS.
I've had the absolute MOTHER of all the back pains for the past 2 days (Slipped in the shower last weekend T_T) and it would just not go away, no matter how many painkillers I took.
Then lil'brother sends me this coupon for a chiropractic clinic, to get a 30% discount. I try it out.
It went down like this: I enter, this girl tells me to lie down on this table, she pokes me 3 times in my back, then applies pressure on those 3 points, I hear a cracking noise, and POOF, pain gone.
Like it was never there in the first place. And I'm like "O_o WTF? it was that easy?" Seriously, Poke 1 2 3 and POOF, pain gone.
Magic I tell ya.
