Do you not know who Catherine Tate is? D:

Never heard of her.

Never heard of her.
She's a quite famous/successful comedian. She was in Doctor Who for a while too, I believe. I never found her too funny, but always knew who she was. I guess I overestimated her fame. >.>

It's probably because she's British.

True, but I always thought Dr Who was a quite internationally famous show.

And she might know that he uses it, and have said it was ok.
Nope, he deceived her into posing for the photos with the name of the board and a timestamp in order to use her photos. Funnily enough, she was a mutual friend with another board member I was friends with on MySpace, so I saw her pictures on his MySpace and recognised her, which eventually led to the guy posing as her being outed as being actually a guy.

I was referring more to her status as a comedian. British humor sucks imo. Same with American.

You guys need to talk more. I keep ending up on Christwire because I've read everything on my regular sites. I can already tell it's not going to be healthy that I do that.

I think you'll find that every country has examples of what you might consider "quality" comedy (or really any artistic endeavour) but the type of content that can cross borders will most often be fairly dull, MotR, inoffensive stuff. It's much easier to find niche entertainment in your own country/language I guess. Also, comedy is tied so closely to language that it's unsurprising that it doesn't travel well.

Yeah, which sucks a lot. You realize how many inside jokes actually exist. =|

Screenname: Asakawa
I wish I hadn't seen this. I don't think it's a very nice thing to do.
Which aggravates you more:
1) Roger Drissa from South Africa knows of an asakawa on wowhead.com
2) You've been exposed as the sith tyrant.
3) I've got the opportunity to make BILLIONS and you don't

It's kind of cult, at least in Sweden. I guess it's internationally famous, but I could ask ten random people and at least half of them wouldn't know about the series. Re; Catherine Tate: I never really liked her. She was funny when she'd rage on DW, but otherwise meh. All the other companions so far in the new series have been superior, in my opinion.
