You're an anti-capitalist conspiracy nut. :)
That being said, I think it's mainly because the traditional 'rugged' man is somewhat reasonably correlated to a sub-average intelligence, and other similar negative traits. It's also the idea that if you've got enough money to blow on anti-aging products and time to take care of your appearance like that, you're also probably loaded and are therefore attractive in more ways than one.
Back off-topic, I just got home from a work dinner. It's been quite a while since I've seen grown men in suits playing ping pong.

I kinda feel bad for the US. It's all liberal vs. conservative this, liberal vs. conservative that. Here in Denmark they cooperate. Obviously they have common opponets, so they have to, but you know. Heck, they even make governments together. I just feel sad in some way. =/

Why is all the clothing I see on Pinterest either women's clothing, or very feminine looking men's clothing? Seriously, I was getting the hunch that it was all feminine, and showed my wife. All the clothes are tight, obnoxiously colored, and mismatched. All the guys look at the camera listlessly, or pucker. As we were looking at the men's apparel general board, contemplating this, we actually saw a pic of two guys kissing. What gives? I mean, I get that there is going to be various things in fashion, but why is nearly ALL of it stuff that no one in their right mind would wear, and modeled by guys who try to look like girls? I don't get that.
There are still plenty of sites that display their merchandise on handsome and manly looking male models. Stop looking at the queer ones, problem solved.

Ah, so you are saying the problem is not indicitive to the entire fashion community. My question, then, is what is it about Pinterest users that makes them prefer to look at homosexual modeled male clothing?

source? lol. Doubtful. Anyway, I've known many "rugged men" in my lifetime. Men of old fashioned southern soft spoken and humble character. They might not appear to be the brightest bulb in the bunch, and perhaps there are not loads of John Wayne style physicists, but some positive traits, I suspect, do correlate with them. Self reliance. Morality. Patience. Wisdom. I think you may have a very narrow and stereotypical view of the "rugged man".

WHAT THE HELL?
Why did they kept
THIS
out of the original "Lion King" movie?
Furthermore, when the movie was re-released, how could they add that crappy "morning report" song instead of this?
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH DISNEY?

The Morning Report was the original cut song heh.
