Sniper Wolf was attractive too...and
terribly
written, and yet her death scene was still real sad, heh.
Meh, didn't like it... of course, I hate the MGS games lol.
Ah, hokay. I will admit, the dialogue is cringeworthy for half the game.
The whole series is.... need I pull up the most nightmare inducing concept from the second game?

B) done the same way. a good way to position it is by hitting shift F to fly the camera around (the controls pop up on the gray bar at the bottom of the 3D view)
C) depends on what shape transformations you are using. for scale on the first frame (or any frame of your choosing) hit I and select scale. this adds a key frame at the frame you are currently on telling the program that the object is
x
large. then go to the frame you want the scaling to end at, scale the object to the desired size and hit I again and select scale. locscale changes the size and location of the object, rot changes the rotation locrot changes the location and rotation and locrotscale changes all three. for more complex shape changes you can use
shape keys
.
Hope that helps. (also hit alt A for an animation preview)
It does, thanks. I don't think I understand the 'camera' thing properly yet. I wanted to move the POV of the animation.

Oh yeah I forgot you can also have the camera follow a path, for the ultimate roller caster effect. :)
speaking of roller coasters
I can tell you how to model tracks along a path if your intrested
I think I should work on basic geometric object creation first. I was thinking about doing the 'neon sign' tutorial. I think I've got at least a very basic grasp on animation and shading. I would like to understand shading better.

So,
this
page explains how to place the 3D cursor... but it doesn't seem to be working for me. I'd like to place the cursor EXACTLY in a particular place, but I can't seem to get it done on a 2D screen. Tips?

Sorry I don't quite understand what you are asking, if you can rephrase it that might help.
Placeing the cursor into the field of view is difficult for me because the cursor always lands at an unspecified 'depth'. I click the screen, and the cursor could end up 1 inch from my screen, or a mile. How do I control it?

I wonder what the odds are of getting the same captcha twice. (I have saved forms on, and it saves them, so if I get one starting with a 'c' and type 'c', it shows all the ones I've done beginning with 'c')
