Sometimes, but some parts of history can be really really escruciation (spelling?). I've also had some math lessions that were very interesting, but you kinda have to 'get it' in order for it to be fun, and then it is better than anything.
Excruciating (I'm not going to flame you for that, it's a difficult word, lols)
Gotta side with history simply because it interests me more. I, as an overly-imaginative right-brainer (right brain power, Queggeh! /highfive) like to imagine it as a great epic story, filled with interesting characters, from the powerful leaders like George Washington, the evil villains such Adolf Hitler, and everything in between, from the pacifistic badass Ghandi to the temporary-allies-of-necessity like Stalin. It's an odd approach, but it makes history enjoyable, and it helps that I like to envision it as if adapted into a brilliant movie by an award-winning director.

Laihendi likes how everything that happens affects everything else to one degree or another. It all sort of flows together. It seems obvious to some, but many do not realize this.

Math plays a large role in art.
This is true. What I think... I might be wrong... is that the most complicated math that is possible for humans to do, is being done in thier heads before they pick up a pencil. What you consider 'math' is our breaking down what we already understand. Art is utilizing what we don't fully understand, but can already do, like 'eyeballing' sculpture.

Sure Math is in everything at the atomic level and all that, but the same can be said for art. I'm talking about consciously moving through a mathematical procedure to arrive at a conclusion. You don't really do that stuff in art.

Many of the greatest masterpieces of art did in fact require consciously using math.
