I enjoy playing both factions...
I have a 73 hunter, 64 druid and dk, and a 38 rogue, Alliance.
I also have a 60 shaman, 36 warrior, and 17 priest, Horde.
The change of pace is very refreshing. Unfortunately there are dbags everywhere, and I have run into my share of them on both sides.
I would say I have run into more cool people on Horde, and more toolbags on Alliance, but I have friends on both sides.
I don't feel that you actually get the full experience of the game if you don't at least try both sides.

I've just recently gotten into playing Horde after being 100% Alliance since I started. I don't find there's that big of a difference between the types of players on either side on my server, anyway. I put my Belf paladin aside in favour of a druid, but I found that when I was playing the paladin, I had at least one pst a day asking if I could heal for an instance. That has never ever happened while playing Alliance.

I have a level 80 on both sides, but they're on different servers. Horde side is definitely my "home" though and I'll have my second 80 there soon.
There's nothing wrong with playing both factions. People are the same no matter where you go and I have friends on both sides. In any case, you're only seeing half the game if you restrict yourself to one. There are so many quests that don't have an equivalent on the opposite side, especially in the low levels. And each side definitely has it's own flavor.

I recently transferred my main to alliance after playing horde since retail hit stores. I actually found it to be a refreshing change and I really dig the human female look after being undead for years. My most played alt is a tauren druid on the same server and I can trade mats between factions pretty easily. I think eventually I will end up transferring my druid to be a night elf. Seeing the world from the "other" faction's perspective has been interesting and I actually like alliance a lot more than I ever thought I would.

Alliance: 3 80's, 2 70's, 1 60.
Horde 1 80, 1 60.
On my alliance server the horde are noobs, on my horde server alliance are noobs. I think I just got lucky.
My only complaint is that my horde 80 is a paladin and that nets me 0 respect, as opposed to my lvl 80 alliance pally :P

I have a server for Horde (3 80s) and a server for Alliance (just 1 80 so far).

main is a Nelf bear (<3 2% miss) with a few ally alts but i do have an orc demo lock...can't be beat (hope the revamped racials in cata don't screw the class/race synergy)
ah if only they would add class changes...i'd roll a plate class, equip the highest stam/armor gear in every armor slot then change to a druid, plate bears ftw

i play both...Horde 80% of the time though. When Cat comes out, it'll be Horde 60%, Alliance 40%.
one server for Horde and one server for Alliance.
highest Horde: level 80
highest Alliance: level 58 (yes a DK)...
