Does anyone know/understand the layout of BRD?

That dungeon is an incredibly massive labyrinth that is confusing enough to give any firstcomer a migraine. Does anyone here understand the layout of this instance? I need a guide on which way to go first - left, right, etc. Where to get the keys for this door and that door, and how to get there. All of the details.
I have 5 quests that I want to finish and I'd like to learn the map of that place so I know where to go next time I go there. It'd help speed things up, too.
Thanks.

I can lead you through BRD, URBS, Mara, Scholo, Stratt....but not Sunken Temple. I always get lost there D=

You can do a full BRD clear without the key or any sort of lock picking method, just requires taking a less direct route. As stated above the dungeon is in fact too expansive and intricate to learn the layout from any 2 dimensional depiction or from wording alone. I'm sorry to say it but if you'd like to learn the ins and outs of this place you're best off doing a full clear and if necessary running through the recently cleared causeways till you've memorized it. With that being said, Blackrock Depths is without a doubt the most remarkable and thought provoking dungeon design blizzard has and probably will come up with...Special consideration goes to Maraudon as well.

I'm pretty sure it's impossible to do a full clear without the key

nope, the key really only opens the gate immediately to your left when zoning in, the following 2 gates to the upper level of the ring of the law, and next to useless prison cells along the causeways. (unless you're on a quest)
In retrospect to get to the upper floor of the ring of the law without the key all you have to do is do the event in the ring of the law to open the portcullis to reach the same spot. As i mentioned before the lack of a key doesn't prevent you from completing the dungeon it merely redirects you down a generally longer path but still allowing access to every boss.

In order to get to
General Angerforge
+ you will need the key to close the giant gate, thus opening the rest of the instance up

Ah i do believe you've got me by the balls, seems to have slipped my mind. Indeed then, the key is required for the middle portion of the dungeon while allowing access to
Lord Roccor
,
Bael'Gar
,
Houndmaster Grebmar
,
High Interrogator Gerstahn <Twilight's Hammer Interrogator>
,
Ring of Law
,
Pyromancer Loregrain
,
Lord Incendius
,
Fineous Darkvire <Chief Architect>
,
Warder Stilgriss
,
Verek
,
Magmus
,
Princess Moira Bronzebeard <Princess of Ironforge>
, and
Emperor Dagran Thaurissan
(Magmus, Moira, and Dagran can be reached via lava hopping)
I haven't bothered checking which of the Dark Keepers are reachable without a key.

preferred ST to BRD. Leagues and leagues and leagues a better instance.

It is true, BRD is a large and probably one of the most confusing maps.
Sunken Temple being the worst.
