(character_sheet_dodge-10%)/(character_sheet_parry-10%) = 1.88

To explain that formula, once you reach 1.88 then you gem dodge over parry.
Note with my 226-245 mix of gear, dodge is still a better stat.

Look, imagine dodge as apples and parry as children. You have some apples (dodge) and some children (parry) hungering for them. You want to distribute apples to the children so that in a result every child gets 1.88 apple. You try that (divide apples/children, dodge/parry) and realize that you can only give 1.7 apple to every child.
What then?
Solution: Either buy more apples or kill some of the children.
But killing children (lowering parry) is bad, so you should better get more apples (dodge). Of course, if you used bad protection and now got too many children (gemmed parry), you should better get rid of them somehow, no matter what.

I forgot to subtract the base 10%s though, edited now.
Made a change since you said it wasn't working, not sure if it does now. =p
