Thanks for the feedback all. Yes, I've been practicing on the test dummies. Yes, I'm using Quartz and I also grabbed Quartz_procs to monitor my Life Tap buff closely. I'll get OmniCC. As I said, it's going to take some practice. In my new spec my DPS increased by 300 on the dummies, so that's a plus.
I guess I had in mind a set sequence of buttons to press during a fight, a rhythm if you will. As it stands, it's more of a constant state of monitoring for me: "Is this CD up? What about this one? Do I still have Life Tap? How long until the curse expires?" etc., etc. Perhaps that's my healer background shining through. I don't really use any kind of a rotation when I'm healing, I just react to what comes.
For DPS, I'm looking for of a "Press 3-3-3-2-1-4-3-3-3" kind of experience.
roll an arcane mage for that..
1-1-1-1-2 or 1-1-1-1-3.
or even better, roll frost..
1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1 (oop, water elemental is off cooldown) 2 (brain freeze proc) 3-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1....

For DPS, I'm looking for of a "Press 3-3-3-2-1-4-3-3-3" kind of experience.
Unfortunately (fortunately?) you don't get this as a destruction warlock because your Immolate, Conflag, and Chaos Bolt have different duration/cooldowns and you won't always be in sync. Immolate lasts 15 seconds, Chaos Bolt is 12 seconds, and Conflag is 10 seconds. Add in the haste you gain from Backdraft and you'll find sometimes you get hasted Incinerates, sometimes Chaos Bolts, and sometimes Immolates.
So after your initial Immolate / Curse / Conflag / CB / Incin / Incin, you just need to keep an eye on your immolate duration and Conflag/CB cooldowns and time your actions accordingly.
Just for fun, here's 1 minute of time on the dummy to show you how (at least I) do it. This is with 626 haste rating. Base cast times are 1.26 immolate, 1.68 chaos bolt, and 1.89 incinerate.

As you can see, you normally get 6 abilities in between each Conflagrate. Between my fourth and fifth Conflag you can see I only did 5 incinerates; I must have saw that Conflag was coming off cooldown soon and made a judgement call to wait half a second for the Conflag CD instead of spending 1.7 seconds on another Incinerate, but I should have put another incinerate in there.
But it's pretty clear that the order gets all out of whack and there's really no way to get a set 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, kind of rotation in.
So, I've never actually analyzed a combat log dump like that before. I can see from the timestamps that I used my Conflags 10.41 seconds, 10.91 Seconds, 10.37 Seconds, 10.42 seconds, and 10.38 seconds after the previous conflag. My immolates were 15.23, 17.17, and 16.2 seconds after the previous immolate. My Chaos Bolts were 13.54, 13.5, 15.28, and 13.52 after my previous one. So overall that's pretty good timing on my rotation.
I tried making a cast sequence macro. Came up with one that's pretty good. Standing still on a target dummy (Imp out, fel armor, firestone) I had 3700 DPS just spamming one button (over 4 minutes). The kicker though? When I went back to doing things manually I had 4200 DPS. So yeah, lazy macros don't work.

if you looking for 333222555444 kind of experience then i have a solution for lazy players... its 1111111111111 experience... you just create macro with spell rotation and all you need to do is to press the button that you have bind to macro..
for exampe /castsequence reset= target life tap, curse of the elements, immolate.... etc
