the Item Comparison tool says the Tier pants are better than Demonic Messenger, but I'm not believing it, seeing as it's prioritizing Mp5 and Haste over Crit, for Disc.
I'd go with the Tier anyways. I'd take +20% healing on PoM over a few stats any day.

I've got the same problem, but with Shadow T9. Like I said, +20% to PoM is much better than stats.

Demonic messenger is unquestionably better IMO... with all else being equal, crit > haste. However, all is not equal. The 2pc bonus is a major factor (or it should be if you're doing it right!). You do not want to lose it, which means to equip the D.M. legs you'd need to change one of your other slots for a tier piece. And that's even worse, as you have BiS gear occupying those slots right now. You'd lose far more by changing out one of those items than you'd gain with D.M.
Also, your crit is certainly not low by any measure. If you were struggling to get it up, you might consider losing the 2pc bonus for a while. But you're fine on stats, and more haste is certainly not an problem.
In other words: the benefit of changing your pants is definitely overshadowed by the costs. Keep what you have.
Also: BobTurkey's stat weightings are very personal. People take his numbers far more seriously than they should. Once in a while I look at the gear lists that are generated from his stat weightings, and I agree with very little of what I see. Think For Yourself (tm).
