I get 50 FPS in Dal and I pay $40 a month for my computer, interest free. Financing is fun and readily available.

to the postmaker:
What type of computer you got, how new is it?
how much ram you got, on my computer box i had last time before laptop i had 512 mb ram to begin with but there is often a second input for ram(was so in the dell i had), so i bought another memory card and input it in the computer so i had 1024 ram memory, this helped me alot with my fps.
you running with full settings(video option)?
if so turn it all down and cancel special effect, use everything who may buffer you fps. this will help alot.
Connection, is it fast or is it stable?
Rather go with stable than fast, stable connection will make sure you not dc.
if nothing works, get another computer, you can usually get one cheap. try buying in a site like ebay or other site who sells second hand, a computer who is one years old will decrease in value fast from market price. the older the cheaper, but do not take one who is over 3 years. read that it can take also, on the game pack it says system required to run full(who is then you wanna run it on max effect, so it can be taken a bit lower but not much, the lower the worse).

Aye, I got a new comp lately, and she runs wow like a dream.... except on patch days, Dalaran is always awful on days like that. But for the most part, if you can, turn all your options down to lowest setting, put your hearth in the underbelly, and use only the exit near the Flight point, or set your hearth somewhere in Dragonblight, Icecrown or Storm Peaks. Since you can now fly over Dalaran, it's actually easier to just land in the right spots, do what you want, they hit the next place at a run.

Because scattering all the NPCs would create more whine then the "few" people that has lag due to Dalaran (Or Shattrah back in the days).
You have to remember there is another side of the situation.
But a thing they could have done was to separate horde/alliance. Which would reduce the amount of people in Dala by 1-99%, all depending on Horde to Alliance ratio.I think you miss understood.
Don't scatter them, but make "copies" of them in other cities.
And for those who are just telling me to go out and buy a new PC, I can't. WoW is baisically the only luxury I get to experience right now. Money is tight, and getting a new PC isn't that easy.
Also, I don't think it's my graphics card, it's more likely my RAM. Pretty much everything runs slow, and my PC (Laptop) is in bad shape physically (Broken screen hinge D:) and buying upgrades for it wouldn't be worth it.
I'm not trying to be a whiner really, i just don't see why they can't have the NPCs with the most traffic in other cities.

Sack up and buy a new PC. Whiner.
Ok. But you gotta pay for mine.
What? Me pay for my own? Pfft, naw, I don't have an excess few hundred dollar laying around, but if you're telling people to just go out and *buy* a new computer, well I figure you must have the extra money, and wouldn't mind sharing.
...Right?
Seriously, what's with all the people who think that just because they can buy a good computer everyone can.
Because anyone can go earn money?
Seriously, what's with all the people who think that just because anyone can buy a good computer no one can?
