I see why you have your doubt.
I think I'd agree on taking the Breastplate of C I.
First of all you gain a lot of Crit, which is nice.
It has nice AP stats.
You get more armor and stamina, which help you in the long run.
The haste is almost the same. And you can't shoot Aimed faster, so who cares about haste.
And the armor penetration... Well don't see why they introduced that into the game.
WE WANT AGI, AP AND CRIT =)

Don't want to hijack thread but I am in kind of the same situation.

I own both

I recently won a trophy and feel I should spend it so I am thinking of getting

And replacing my shoulders for
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=47705
I would need the chest to make up for the hit loss from losing the tier shoulders.
Other option would be to just upgrade my existing 232 shoulders to the 245 ones and stick with one of the chest pieces I already have. What do you guys think? Also, currently SV but will probably switch to MM soon since it seems to clearly give better dps at this point.
Thanks
upgrading to your 245 tier could be a good idea BUT i personally dont like our t9 4p and find that by sacking pieces only to keep my 2p i end up with more Dps, although im MM so i cant say.
But if you have access to 10 TOGC group.
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=48046
<- those would be best for your shoulders. So my suggestion would be to get your chest piece because you are dependent on Mark for hit which in my opinion isnt GREAT and if really want to keep your 4p it will allow you to drop your 232 shoulders and get the ones i linked or the tier 245.
on a side note, you get more dps by gemming yellow sockets with 10agi 10crit then just straight 20 agi in everything. So save you nitemare tear for blue sockets, like the one in your pants for 6agi more.

Hi again to those who have seen me posting pretty much latley. I have gotten a bit confused again(obviously) so I'm not sure if I should pick
Crusader's Dragonscale Breastplate
for the good agility or if I should pick
Breastplate of Cruel Intent
for the crit and better attackpower. I know agility goes over attack power though...And crit rating is very useful since I'm a surivial hunter, but agility goes one for all so... What do you think? Which one of them. This is meant for both PvP and PvE. And if you want you can count in
this
too, but remember both for PvE and PvP. Thanks.

Breast Plate of Cruel Intent, Hands down. ArP aint very bueno for SV and haste isnt an "OMG" stat like it is for casters.

Thats Wrong he needs all gems to be +24(34 if JC) AGI and only 1 Nightmare tear! Agility > All SV build! Stack agility as much as u can because the more u have the more it will be buffed and ull get more crit more ap than with anything else!

Umm did you mean to link the heroic version of the BP of Cruel Intent? Unless you say otherwise, I'm going to assume you meant to link the 245 version and not the 258.
So, making the assumption above, don't go with BP of Cruel Intent. That's more of an enhancement shaman piece that really isn't very good for Hunters. Haste = craptistic hunter stat, and the high AP, low Agility combo is definitely shaman itemization and poor for hunters. I know both pieces have haste, but the point is that, IMO, the BP of Cruel Intent was designed to be a shaman piece and not a hunter piece.
The best option would be the T 9.33 chest, but, of the ones you linked, i would definitely choose the Crusader.

Wrong. ArP is just as good as crit even for SV. I don't know why so many people have this notion that ArP is horrible for SV. Go check the spreadsheet, the results will likely surprise you.
And as for the haste argument. Yeah, haste is god awful for hunters, but BOTH pieces have haste.
But the real reason that you want the Crusader BP is that it can be socketed for
180
agility. Loads of extra agility > more AP.
The real question here is whether or not the OP really has the heroic version of the BP of Cruel Intent, because that might sway things in it's favor. However, i just have a hard time believing that anybody clearing hard mode beasts wouldn't know what gear they should be wearing.

It sure does.
83.3 agility = 1% crit. Also 45.91 crit rating = 1% crit.

For more concrete numbers on the original question i ran the 3 PVE pieces through the spreadsheet in my SV spec.
The heroic version of the BP of Cruel Intent was #1, Crusader's was 39 DPS behind, and the regular version of the BP of Cruel Intent was last, 43 DPS behind the Crusader's and 82 behind it's heroic version.
So, yeah, if you actually have the heroic version, use it. If it's the regular 245 version from ToC25 and not the 258 fromToGC25, use the Crusader's Dragonscale.
