My favourite moment was when I discovered Nagrand, that place is so awesome to just fly around in, it blew my mind and I now have a favourite sitting spot on one of the floating islands. It's a nice place to go after a hard nights raid with some flagons and a couple of naked tauren dances w00t :)

I'd say my favorite memory (or memories?) involve my hunter. He was my first character, and I used to always do crazy stuff with him -- soloing my Sunken Temple class quest, soloing the Dire Maul arena boss, doing 1/2 man high level instance runs to see how far we could get, etc.

I would have to say my favorite moment to date was when I was playing my level 30-ish Draenei paladin, questing my way through the trancey and ever-peaceful Ashenvale. I got the quests to enter Demon Fall Canyon and slay some demons and such around there, so being the righteous blighter I was I waded in happily, hacking and slicing demonic limb from hell-born torso - and stumbled, quite accidentally, over the giant memorial gravestone of Grom Hellscream.
Even as a member of the Alliance (and still one to this day), I had to stop a moment and read his tombstone, images of his triumphant, if fatal, battle with the massive beast Mannoroth rushing through my mind - smiling with pride at the glorious tribute to one of Azeroth's greatest heroes, without whom the Burning Legion would doubtless still rule over Azerothian soil.
WoW continues to amaze me with it's sturdy hold on set lore, and the constant in-game tributes to long-forgotten or fallen heroes who helped to shape the game world we now work to save.
Alternatively, on a less serious but more "woohoo!" note, was in Karazhan, guild raid, good geared team, and we reached that Bastard of all Bastards, Shade of Aran. He was on his last 10% when a rogue Fireball took out my warlock and I was forced to watch on as the one remaining healer and two remaining DPS; my boyfriend's mage and the guilds MT druid battled it out. The healer got molested by Arcane Explosion, not quite getting out of range in time, but using his Lay On Hands to give the Druid a quick boost. My boyfriend, after a valiant attempt to shred through Aran's HP pool, was lain low by a Frostbolt on the last 1%... and just as we thought all was lost, the druid, who had been hiding in a corner from the Arcane Explosion that followed, dashed back in and threw a desperate last Shred at Aran, taking him down. Nothing like winning when you could have sworn all was lost :)

My favorite moment in the game was when, out of boredom, I kited
Gamon
from Orgrimmar to Thunderbluff using rank 1
Hex of Weakness
on my troll priest. It took a few tries to get him out of the front gates, but once I figured out that I could simply spam rank 1 Hex of Weakness instead of a combination of
Psychic Scream
and
Mind Control
, the kiting went much faster. It also took a few tries to get him past the duelers outside Orgrimmar who killed him several times.
I had a few screenshots but have since lost them, sadly.

My favorite moment was when we downed illidan for the first time.Every one was yelling at team speak:FINISH HIM COME ON.At that point tank died @ 3%.A rogue was next on threat list.Used evasion twice and we managed to kill him.
Another moment was when i was running around whit my 65 lvl paladin.A rogue jumped me,BUT he was so easy to kill and had kinda weak gear.I killed him but i died cause of his poisons.
Once i was testing my shamans healing crit on a lock when orgrimmar whas under siege.I was casting and just as im about to score a crit a rogue ambushes him.At 1% i healed him for 13k.And we killed the rogue, but lost thrall

Well i was a huge fan of Warcraft Series. I always played horde. Except a Draenai Shaman i used to show some love sometimes. When i first started to play WoW, a long time ago, when i finaly got my Internet Connection (not all countries had that so fast), i started a Undead Rogue. I didnt notice the fact that World of WoW was made after the Warcraft series, until i finaly reached Undercity (pfua i remeber that i didnt even knew that there was a city under Lordaeron). When i reached the throne room i remembered imediatly that cinematic from w3 when Arthas killed his father. Loved that part. And then... at level 14-15 or so, i started to go to OG to see Thrall, to TB to see Chairne, to Ashenvale to see the place where Thrall and Grom fought the pit lord. And all those places. Lots of ppl called me a noob, but i didnt care back then :D just wanted to see those cool places.
That is the moment i remember now.
Grats to the winners of the beta keys!

I'd say my best moment in WoW would actually be 2: The one time i cleared last boss SL after looking for a group for 6 months, and at the last boss people started leaving! But we made it at last =D. The other moment would be when i first delivered The Lady's Necklace (gotten in Ghostlands) to Sylvanas, and she looked back to her elven time, and started singing the Elven Song, "Lament of the Highborne" which is about when Arthas and the Scourge came raiding Silvermoon City ! Such an emotional moment!
All this on my very first character (that was when i had bought full version) an undead warlock, still playing on Balnazzar =D

Lets see...
I would have to say my first time in Hyjal.
I had been in a failing gruuls run, wiping on gruul about 3 times in a row. Then I got a message from the shaman lead in the top guild on my server saying they wanted to give me a test run. Needless to say, I was overjoyed.
We went through the entire instance without a single wipe until archi (who we gave up on because there were a lot of trials :().
The next night I did BT with them.
Definitely my best experience in WoW.

My favorite moment in my WoW career would be when I was questing with my, currently level 70, hunter Sheva. I was questing around in Un'Goro Crater when I ran upon a wrecked boat in a small pond just south of the lava flowing mountain. I followed the quest line that came from the item found within the boat. The further I went into this quest line I started to realize that it came out of another game, Zelda.
Another favorite moment that I recently had with my career would be when I was running around the Stormwind Library. I happened to see this yellow exclamation mark on my minimap and was curious on what was in store for me. It was a little girl named Alicia. She said "Hi, I wrote a poem for my friend Caylee. She likes to hang out with the Aldor in Shattrath City. You know, in Outland? Could you take my poem to her? My mommy says I'm too young to go to Shattrath City! " I was thinking, well of course I can since I am friendly with Aldor. When I read the poem, it brought tears to my eyes. The poem went like this: "Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am in a thousand winds that blow, I am the softly falling snow. I am the gentle showers of rain, I am the fields of ripening grain. I am in the morning hush, I am in the graceful rush Of beautiful birds in circling flight, I am the starshine of the night. I am in the flowers that bloom, I am in a quiet room. I am in the birds that sing, I am in each lovely thing. Do not stand at my grave and cry,I am not there. I do not die." After turning in this quest to Caylee Dak in Aldor I went to research this quest. Come to find out, Caylee was the character of a person who died of leukemia in August 2007. I thought that it was the nicest thing Blizzard could do for anyone and wanted to show my personal appreciation to those responsable for allowing this persons character and pet to be in the game as a memorial.

My favourite moment
must've been a couple years ago back in Darkshore. Me and my good real life pal were bored to death with questing and decided to explore the further sea just outside Auberdine. We found a nice little island with some structure debris. There we sat discussing and debating philosophy, religion, politics and such while watching the early evening's setting sun for quite a few moments. The active and profound conversation paused for a few seconds while we both enjoyed the silence and the beautiful, virtual sea scenery, thinking what to say next. Out of nowhere my friend wrote "I love you", which obviously scared me to death. At first I thought it was a joke, but I still demanded an explanation for this rather bold and insolent confession. He merely said he had thrown himself into the moment and wanted to get it off his chest. I was a bit flattered, but confused, so I had to clarify that I wasn't "like that". He was extremely embarrassed, tried to cover it telling it was just a joke, but I didn't believe him. We had a long, long discussion about it, still sitting in the island. I refused to believe that he was serious about it, but he insisted that he was. After about 20 minutes of emotional and serious chatting, a level 60 unknown night elf un-stealthed behind us and said: "I have no idea if you're serious or not, but guys... that sh*t was flawless..". We felt so embarrassed and decided to tell him that we were just RPing... on a PvP server... We felt quite troubled to talk together for a few days, but currently he's still my good pal. ;-D

My favorite WoW moment was when I first came to Stranglethorn Vale and experienced the Gurubashi Arena. You see, having a goblin call for treasure and lay a beautiful treasure chest right out in the open was quite a treat. After making sure that nobody was around, I made my way across the infamous open field and began to open the chest. Right as I was about to get the loot, I was suddenly sapped by a rogue, who then proceeded to ambush me and vanquish my hopes forever. I will never forget the feeling of having an ally slay me for a treasure chest :)
