My favorite memory was downing Gruul for the first time. Our guild *struggled* over and over and over to down him, but unfortunately we just could not get him down. Finally after months and months of trying we all went in there with the "We're going to kick his butt attitude, and after losing nearly all of the raid (including tanks) we managed to get him down with 1 person alive at the end."
I play a hunter, and lo and behold guess what dropped. I got my T4 Legs and
Dragonspine Trohpy
. Needless to say I've been hooked on 25 man raids every since. :P
Thanks Wowhead for having such a great site!

Favourite moment.....
AoE farming with the mage in WPL, running and gathering 20+ mobs before nuking them down amid fears was brilliant, always the rush of "Am I going to survive the pull" kept me entertained well into the late 50's (this was pre-tbc gear @ 57/58 as well).

My first ever game I played on the Internet. I created this hord character, not knowing realy where I can go etc. At level 15 I decided to go explore and get to Wetlands, (after being dead so many times) heading to the town to repair as all was red by then, and could not understand why the NPC's kill me before I even enter the town. To my frustration I realized it is not a town for me and believe me, I never made that mistake again. Since then I made so many friends on WOW that I could just ask and they were so friendly and helpful.

My favorite moment in WoW... I'm pretty sure this was the day I got my rogue Malchazeen from Prince Malchezaar. I know it's not that big a deal but it was back in these dayse when there were not so many 70s yet and the big guilds were doing still kara and gruul. I'm a PvP player and don't do raiding, but I wanted a good dagger soo much. with around 250 arena points per week I would seen the S2 main hand dagger in a deckade and asked my guildies a couple of times to take me in Kara just for the Prince and just for the dagger. finally they took me one time, we wiped 1-2 times but at the end downed him. my heart was about to explode while I was waiting for he master looter to link in chat the loot. then I saw ... . I cannot write in words how happy I was when I got it, but I'm pretty sure this was maybe the greatest moment I had in WoW!

Before my transfer I played an orc hunter on the RP-PvP server Defias Brotherhood and I remember we had some very epic, large-scale city raids and fights on hand-picked battlefields.
One of the larger fights was a war in Shimmering Flats. It was like 100 vs 100 and there was lots of people dying and suddenly the server crashed from all the fighting in the same place. That was the end of an epic fight.
