My favorite moment...
My first Alterac Valley encounter. Though I was unlucky since when Alterac Valley first came I wasn't eligable to enter since I was one level to low. So later I took that level and then entered Alterac Valley. It was so fun killing Horde everywhere, I even miss the four hour Alterac Valley runs that used to happen before. Both sides trying to press forward past the middle and then getting pressed back all the way again
Just to add, my second favorite moment...
Must have been with my first character Mikra, when I for the first time raided Molten Core with all of it's glory. I remember how fun it was with all those 39 other players fighting our way through the dungeon. Then after some weeks we downed Ragnaros! We were also lucky so we downed Thunderaan after that which also gave one of our guild members the legendary sword Thunderfury.

My favourite moment was probably the first time I ever went into the raid instance, Onyxia. I had to get all my fire resistance gear, which cost a lot back then. We wipe on the first, second and third attempts and decided to call it a night. It was the most fun I had ever had raiding, and it was even more fun knowing that I no longer had to do any attunements for any other raid instance after that.
Of course the attunement was long, and as I neared the end of it, I started to get angry at the quest-line.
But it was all worth it once I finally got into the instance.

My favorite moment comes from my raiding days, pre-BC.
I was raiding MC with my guild at the time and we had made it up to Baron Geddon for the first time. We were doing well for a while, but then a couple mishaps lead to a near-wipe. Geddon was very close to dead, but it got down to a paly, a priest and me (druid). All of us had been healing.
Unfortunately for Geddon, he did not know the wrath of the healers...
The paladin managed to tank for a short time, but went down pretty fast. Then it was just the priest and I, running and casting like mad while casting, with Geddon at 1%. The two of us took him down with SW: Pain and Moonfire spam! The end of the combat log was so hillarious, the entire raid got a laugh out of it!
I won my Cenarion Shoulders that night. :-)
It was a long time ago now, but I will never forget taking down Geddon with moonfire spam!

I have been playing since october 2007 not long but hey everyone needs to start at some point ^^
and I chose to be an alliance, not because of the good and evil stuff. I just felt like I was destined to be one and it was a Draenei shaman. I started off on
Azuremyst Isle
it was my first content I ever saw of World of Warcraft and it was astonishing, I soon start of on my first mission killing moths and some sort of shadowfiend creatures and later on rescuing on of my fallen brothers with my cunning healing spell
Gift of the Naaru
(apperently it helps ressing people with only 1 health :P). Soon I went to
Bloodmyst Isle
and got through it very fast with a nice statue on Bloodcurse Island:
statue
at which I had to summon the uppernaga that were living on Bloodmyst Isle and I was just astonished by all the nice graphics and music even.
after almost a year now I'm doing MH (4/5) and BT (3/9) and in this time I've met wonderful friends some nice guilds and I still get overwhelmed by the nice graphics!

I have two moments that I feel are equal.
The first is the day I started the original WoW closed beta, my first character being a Night Elf Rogue. The most memorable thing on this day, was walking through the gates of Darnassus and looked up to see the massive ancient guardians of the city in all of their glory. I was truly struck by the designers ability to make WC3 come to life.
The second is the day that I was a part of the worldwide first Ragnaros kill. Seeing his death, hearing the nerdy cries of victory on ventrilo, being spammed with 'grats' tells, everything about it was just exciting and amazing.

My favority moment...
I still remember when i was 30lvl with my tauren druid on genjuros (although i play alliance)and a friend of mine whisped me to help him kill a 36lvl human paladin in thousand needles(one of the first allies we had encountered).I ran there from orgrimmar and after making a good plan, lol, we ganged him 3-4 times till he called 2 higher lvl guys one was t1 gear hunter and the other 53lvl lock or something (seeing them as skulls on their mounts made me cower in fear tbh)after they completely owned us we called a friend of mine an undead rogue named unsaken(with t2-2.5gear :P who seems to have stopped wow) and then he simply raped them xD that was the reason for me to reroll rogue, watching him playing a rogue with such profficiency and killing them so easily really pumped me up!
Well after that moment many things have happened, even if I raided at 60 to get epics and see the content, even if i got high arena rating and made many alts this is still one of the moments that i wont forget..
As for those who claim wow to be boring at the first lvling,I guess you never leveled up with a friend without using help from others like boosts and exploring all the content by yourself.I miss that time
