My favorite moment in WoW was the first time I saw Marshal Windsor walk through Stormwind towards the Keep to confront Onyxia.
Easily the most epic storyline in WoW, and the way the Guards stopped and saluted him still sends a shiver down my spine. "Nerves of thorium", indeed!

Well, my favourite moment in WoW was while the AQ Event started and of course also all the other parts before. It was so amazing see all the player collecting stuff with the target getting closing to the open gate of AQ.
In my opinion it wasn't the same with the Isle of Quel'Danas. I hope something like AQ will come in the future for WotLK :)

My most epic wow moment must have been PvPing on my Enhancement Shaman. I know 90% of people reading this have just /facepalmed IRL, and i completely agree when you say pvping as enhance is as far from fun as it gets. However, that morning i'd just picked up my new axe
and i was out to get some PvP action. I threw on my windfuries, and rode around Netherstorm trying to find some people to kill. Eventually i came across a Night Elf druid, smacking things around Manaforge Ara. I /roar at her as she finishes off a mob, and she turns around and sees my absolutely giant chunk of crystal hanging off my belt. She shifts into bear, and the fun begins.
We must have been there for about 15 minutes constantly beating on each other, healing, gaining mana however we could (i eventually pulled a weak add onto me for water-shield procs), and eventually she shifted out to innervate for the second time. As i closed the distance i managed to get into melee range for a split second, and my character absolutely EXPLODED. Axes were flying everywhere, and this poor druid's health went from 70% to 5% as Stormstrike procced a dual WF crit off my mainhand. My eyes popped out of my head when i saw all these giant numbers crowding my screen, and i smashed Earth Shock to finish her off.
The irony of all this is that, i kid you not, while we were fighting we didnt see a single other person from either faction around, and as soon as she was dead a S4 MS warrior came down and obliterated me. This was only about a week ago, so to all the despairing Enhance shamans out there, keep hope. Every now and then there will be that moment when everything procs, and you will love your class as much as i do.
Thanks very much for reading :)

My favorite experience in WoW was the first downing of kael. We had been working on the encounter for what seemed like months and people were losing hope. We put in a lot of effort and something clicked. The final drops of his health, 3%.. 2%.. 1% and then an explosion in ventrilo filled with the emotions of those that had put in months of hard work together.
This experience made me realise just why I love raiding and I hope that many of you guys out there can appreciate this.

Favorite moment came in the early days of PVP on Tarren Mill. I'm on a PVE server so world PVP was completely foreign to me.
Dropping into southshore that first time... seeing hundreds of Horde pushing the town with hundreds of alliance pushing back. I wasn't 60, but I remember just picking a spot and healing. I found a hunter and just healed, healed, healed. What a blast it was...

We'll from what I've been reading people have been writing about thier favorate wow moment being a piece of epic gear or the first time they went somewhere and thats great and all but not really importent to me as the time I became guild leader. I had just made my mage when I was asked to sighn this guild charter and I did so, I wanted to try and get it off the ground even though I thought back then that I wasnt going to stay in. About a day later the guild came to life, lots of people and random conversastions especially with the guild leader at the time called Morongara. Somewhere along the line I decided to give my all to make this guild become at least good if not great. So me and another friend of mine, Evo, put in a lot of gold and time into the guild doing instances and doing quests together. We had lots of random conversations cause we who founded the guild thought that serious conversations all the time would ruin the fun of being in a guild. I transered a lot of my alts and more time and money into the guild as time went on and we got alot more membes. Then the day came along when I got the terrible news that our guild leader would be leaving, not permenetly but he wasnt going to be on enough to make sure that the guild runs the way it needs to and so he picked me to be the next guild leader. I didnt know how to take it at first I mean I was workin my main to 70. I never had one before, but I was honored that above all others i was asked to be guild leader. and So i took on my duties about a week later. At fisrt it was hard for me, we lost a couple of members and i didn't know what to really do but with a few dedicated members and sometime and now we Vicarios Atonement are a florishing guild with dedicated members, constantly expanding and now are worth our salt (lol) as some would say. My ingame name is Jetsu, and the momennt I remember the most till this day is becoming guild leader and I wouldnt have it any other way because responsibility is the ultimate test of skill, patients and understandin.
P.S.
If you happen to be on the gurubashi server stop on by ill be more than happy to add you!

lets see... my favorite moment would have to be when i Got my first Epic ever, which happened to be Sul'thraze the Lasher, that was my pride and joy, until i hit outland and it pretty much became obsolete. heh i still have it in my bank for sentimental reasons too.

My favorite memories of WOW
Is when i was leveling my first char a human warlock on Skullcrusher. I had gotten him to level 13 and had a q where I had to talk to a NPC in IF, so I start walking through Redrigde mountains and up through burning steppes and finally through searing gorge.(yes I was a big noob at the time and none of my friends had told me of Deeprun tram) but I finale managed to get to the top of searing gorge to find a gate locked I couldn’t get through, I had died so many times running this far the I can’t count it. So I heartstoned to Goldshire and dropped the quest. When my friends told me of Deeprun tram the next day, I have never in my life felt so stupid and at the same time laughed as much.
Another memory I have from wow I my first encounter on mount hyjal on my tauren resto druid (yes I never got my warlock to 70), Since I have played all Warcraft games so far published I always looked forward to getting to this instance, and when I entered It was magic I have never felt this nostalgic in my life before this moment seeing the Frost wyrms and all the other undead mobs u face in there, and then finally getting to kill Archimonde with all the scripted stuff, it was magic in my eyes. And I will always love that instance.

My fav moment would definitely be the first time seeing Ragnaros. Still has to be the best boss entrance in the game =D
