I remember my first char (which I still have). I wanted to creat a devilish warlock, who can force the darkness to obey him. Well actually after creating an Undead lock I was the happiest guy in the world. Doing some first quests made me interested in WoW and when I dinged it was like a birthday for me everytime. After a time (at level 18) as far as I can remember I gave upon the lock as I missed ppl around me. Later I tried to level the lock again, but difficulties came russians overpopulated our server (no offense, but I can't speak russian :(). So I gave it up again. After a long time Blizzard made a transfare from that so finally I could bring my lock to another server where my friends waited me to help me level and have fun, while I gained experience to be the best (legendary) lock. After that I leveled a paladin, which was the opposite of a warlock (in like demon-holy way) and I made a hard decesion. I choosed the paladin to be my main and with my holy healing speels I should grant our guild glory. Now I raid as Noctedam the holy light bringer!

I would say my favorite moment was finally getting my Orb of Deception after camping the Dire Maul rare spawn for two week. :)
Unless I get a beta key, in which case that will take the slot... :P

I will have to admit that my most memorable and favorite moment in WoW was after I had rerolled from Horde to Alliance and geared up fast enough to be there in the raid for our guilds first C'thun kill. That boss was the biggest pain in the butt for us because it took all 40 people to execute almost perfectly. Once we killed C'thun and Ouro we moved onto Naxxramas and had some fun times in there. Our guild had been chasing the #2 progression guild on the server and killing C'thun seemed to make it one step closer. We fraps'd the fight and seeing my character in the line up and the thank you credits made all the gold and time spent well well worth it.

My favorite WoW moment would have to be waiting outside of BWL and playing duck duck goose with my friends.

Well, there have been many moment's that I've been wow'd (pardon the pun?) by this game. The first time I hit level 70, heck, the first time I hit level 60. But I'd have to say that my favorite moment was when I first started playing World of Warcraft as a human Paladin.
The Paladin's name, Baregha, had been created through the randomize button because I couldn't think of a name. When I first stepped into the World (...of Warcraft!) I was amazed. The music, the scenery, the Northshire Chapel in front of me, the NPC's, etc. The whole thing was incredible, and ever since, this game has not ceased to amaze me. I love it, and always will, even when it dies out some time in the future.

Its a little difficult to remember my best moment in WoW, theres been alot of great times there..... Ah, this one time i was in Nagrand and Halaa was under Horde control (FOR THE HORDE) and the alliance started an assault, at first i wasn't gonna do anything. it was late and not alot of people were on, but someone got on general chat and asked if we were gonna do anything or if we would just roll over and let em take it. So i jumped up and decided me and him should start a defense. Well one thing led to another, and what started with 2 ended with 15 brave warriors fighting against some wimps who wouldn't even fight us on the ground (kept doing bombing runs) and after 2 1/2 hours of fighting a continuous onslaught of alliance.... THE HORDE PREVAILED! It was a great moment for me anyway. I was only lvl 65 against a whole bunch of 70s. And i was the raid leader so i was coordinating the defense so i felt real good about it

A memorable moment for me was back in early 2006.
I'd started playing WoW back when MC was the end game content that all guilds aspired to. I'd been in a few smaller guilds and had eventually made myself known to a couple of key players in one of Thunderhorn's top guilds at the time.
I'd completed an application for a melee spot and had been quietly bugging one of guild officers - hoping that I wasn't being too pushy.
Then one evening I arrived home and logged in to find a message in my mail with an invite to the guild. I was exstatic.
That night I walked into my first 40man instance. They had been working at BWL for a long time, struggling to get old Nefarian down. It was fresh instance and over the next two nights we fought our way to confront him. I pretty much held my own; reading all the strat notes and getting tips from the other rogues for each boss encounter. I'd made my mark over those couple of days, really proving my worth.
As Chromaggus went down I cheered and quickly ran off to get a drink (not enough dkp for anything yet so I figured it was safe to quickly nip off)
...As I got up my foot hooked the power cord immediately shutting down my PC. I frantically restarted, relogged and found myself on the wrong side of the gate to his lair with the rest of the guild starting the encounter...
Typically, that night they got him down - guild first, with me stuck, watching from the wrong side of the gate.

Hmmm I'd have to say my favorite moment was when I was leveling my Orc Warrior Skragg through Outlands right after BC came out.
I hit Nagrand and was doing the quest Murkblood Leaders, where you have to kill the NPC 'Ortor of Murkblood', who has two guards in front of him, one to the left and one to the right.
I had just battled my way to the entrance of the building he was in and was badly injured, I had brought no food and bandaged myself up as best I could. Just about this time a Human Warrior of the same level approached me. I figured I was screwed and he was going to kill me, but he just /pointed at the guard on Otor's right (the side I was standing on) and nodded at me. About 2 seconds later we both used charged and ran in at the guard opposite where we were standing, leaving a very slight red X where we charged in and cleared out the guards then took turn killing the quest mob.
To me this was just perfect, it was simple, and with minimal communication we understood exactly what the other was thinking and worked in harmony despite being on different sides of the fence so to speak.
