Greatest WoW moment was first time stepping into Gruul's Lair. Never raided before TBC, and that was my first time. He was HUGE! Could barley fit the screen! Best wow moment ever. Soon followed up with leaving that guild and now progressing through Achimond and Illidan lol.

My favorite WoW memory is from when I was still somewhat of a loner. Yes, I know WoW is an MMO, but I mostly played solo. I had met a few people here and there. I signed a guild charter to help some people out. If I had a dungeon quest, I'd wait a few levels and stealth run it (I was a NE druid enjoying my new cat form).
Well, I was in my early 40's riding my new mount through Silverpine Forest for the first time. I was on my way to SM to finish some quests(albeit almost worthless by that level). I was a little hesitant since dungeons were getting a little harder to stealth run and thought I should actually find a group.
Just then a group of 4 people from the same guild was running by me. One was level 70 hunter running his guildmates through. I figured they may be nice and let me join them if they had room. I whispered the level 70 and asked if I could join; he said yes. While we were in SM he blazed through the instance, pulling big groups and having his pet tank. We went through all sections and I got my quests done and got my Scarlet Key.
I didn't have much to do, but i helped as much as I could. They were a really funny group of people and I had a blast. After the run I asked them if I could join their guild. I let them know I didn't group much and was looking for occasional help. I also wanted to start my own guild once I got leveled. They were really hesitant, but said yes and said I was going to be limited in my access. I said that was fair and joined them.
After a while a realized it took quite a bit to have your own guild. I was also getting to know those people from the SM run in addition to the other members. They were a really fun guild and very helpful. Finally, I decided I wanted to stay with them and told them I'd like to stay as a real member. They laughed and said they kind of figured I would.
I have since become really good friends with many of them. Unfortunately the guild died after an argument that split the guild. We tried to keep the guild going as long as we could, but ended up going to another guild. They were a little surprised that they had so many new people at once and one of my friends said, "we move in a pack."
So, that memorable SM run lead to me meeting some great friends. Sorry this was so long. I'm a bit of a storyteller I guess. I hope everybody who reads this enjoys it. Thank You.

I haven't been a WoW player for as long as most of you probably, but my first character was a human priest on the Fenris server (PVE). I was extremely "newb-ified" with the game since my usual MMO experiences were Ragnarok Online and Guild Wars. I joined in due to pressure from my fiancee and her mother (who played the game as well). My fiancee had played long before I did, so she knew what she was doing, but she started out as a Night Elf and I felt odd questing alone without anyone to guide me that I knew. Thus, cue my fiancee's mother! She came to Goldshire and had me follow her. I was a lowly level 11 priest with no idea of what was good/bad in terms of enemy awareness and the such. She led me ALL the way to the Night Elf starting area. Just the intake of all the scenery and music to match it made me feel as though I was on a real adventure. I have since then leveled him up to 70 (took about a year though), but nothing has ever compared to that initial journey. :)

My favorite experience playing WoW is when I was a 55 in IF. I was at the AH making some money, and all of the sudden, the city defense message with:IRONFORGE IS UNDER ATTACK! spammed my chat panel. I went out into the main area of If to see what was going down. Suddenly, Hordes of.... horde came in and were starting an epic battle. I'll never forget that, tens if not hundreds of horde flowing into the area in front of the bank. I remember I decided to put down an explosion trap, and jumped into the lava cannal to hide. I barely did any damage, and was eventually found and executed, but it was worth it :)

My favorite memory of WoW is waiting in line for Burning Crusade at the Mall of America. I was there with my friend Kyuseishu from about 8:00 P.M. We ended up buying a whole crap load of WoW Tcg cards, but never really could figure out how to play.
At about 10 our friend Peis showed up with his girlfriend, and one of her friends. So we all waited and watched as a couple of LARPers. I come to find later that the friend of my friends girlfriend (confusing right?) was attracted to me, as I was quite taken with her. We started dating and I helped her get her mage Mahema to level 70. It was some of the funnest times I've had in WoW other than having my first 60.

My favorite WoW moment would have to be downing Hakkar in ZG for the first time. I had joined the guild several months before when it was just a bunch of stoners who were pretty terrible at the game tbh lol. I worked my ass off recruiting people and teaching people how to raid, running a website, leading raids where about 90% of the time not enough people would show up, and I was just incredibly frustrated, but I stuck with it.
We 2 full days on Hakkar after finally clearing the rest of the bosses over the course of three very painful months of bad attendance and too much work. The killing of Hakkar was the first feeling of accomplishment I had in the game other than just hitting 60. Since I had put so much effort and work into it the feeling was amazing, and I rode that feeling out till the xpack, because we never killed anything else or Hakkar again haha. (thank god I'm in a much better guild now)

Having played WoW since it's launch, but on a very irregular schedule, I still had not gotten a character to level 60 when The Burning Crusade expansion came out. I then decided to roll a Blood Elf Hunter. I'm not sure why I picked Blood Elf, possibly because it was more... aesthetically pleasing than the other Horde races. It was tough, at first, having never played a Hunter before. I worked as hard as I could to get to level 10 so that I'd be able to tame a pet to make the leveling go more smoothly.
Level 10 came, and I wanted to get the strongest pet I could tame. I searched on all different kinds of WoW forums to find which would be the best companion for me to level with. The general consensus, from everything I had read, was that Ravagers were a very reliable pet from start to finish. There was, however, one setback. The only Ravagers I would be able to tame at my level were at the Draenei starting area. I looked forward to the challenge.
A few hours, and many deaths later, I had made it to the right area and tamed my Ravager. This was the start of my journey, with Rocky at my side. I had a lot of fun and exciting moments leveling up with Rocky. But my favorite, I would have to say, did not come until long into our adventure.
Fast forward a few months after I met Rocky on Azuremyst Isle. I had just reached level 58 after a long night of playtime. This was a milestone for me. It would be my first time setting foot into Outland. Sleep could wait. 48 levels later, with Rocky still fighting alongside me, I stepped through the Dark Portal.
My favorite moment in all my time playing WoW is stepping through the portal, and looking up at the sky in Hellfire Peninsula for the first time with Rocky by my side.

My favorite moment playing wow was in an arena where my partner and I had met our exact match, however they were better geared.
I was playing my pally and my partner was a rogue, and the other team was a pally and rogue. Both the rogue and pally out geared us respectively.
My partner and the other rogue killed each other, double eviscerate kill and me and the other pally were going at it. He had 2k more mana and life then I did, however we had this battle going back and forth for 15 mins.
Neither of us could get the other down far enough before the other would stun, heal and be at full life. Both of us had blessing of wisdom and were using Seal and Judgement of Wisdom, so we were both at near full mana for almost the entire time.
After about 20 mins my partner said he was going to go watch seinfeld because it was taking so long, and as soon as he said that, I arcane torrent silence the pally's heal, Holy Shock Crit him for 2k life, Hammer of Justice, Judgment of Righteous, Holy Shock, Hammer of Wrath and killed him in 5 or 6 seconds.
It was a great feeling to beat someone who out geared me significantly. So, that was my favorite moment.
