My favorite moment would have to be when my guild first killed Ragnaros. We had spent so many weeks on him. It was a rush to finally see him (his hammer) fall to the ground that night. It's a great feeling to be with such a great group of friends going through the tough time to accomplish one of the hardest bosses (at the time) in the game. It's one thing I'll never forget.

My favorite moments of the game were of when if first started, the game seemed very vast and grand. Looking at the maps, the game looked so much bigger then any other game I had played before. The way I felt just discovering things and going places at walking speed, which at the time didnt feel slow at all. The sounds of the animals and music went perfect with the endless feel of elwynn forest. I always loved goldshire, and on my first character I had it as my hearth untill I was level 40, I'm such a noob >.< (2 years ago)

I think my favorite moment had to be right when i forged the Hammer of Sulfuron with the Eye of Sulfuras. After all the work it took to get the mats it felt so awesome to have the legendary hammer equiped on my warrior.
I still have the thing in my bags >.>

The best experience I have had on wow, would have to be when I went to Molten Core with my guild. I was the suicide bomber for Baron Geddon (considering we didnt have a hunter -.-), which didn't go as planned the first 3 times lol. I died before Baron ever made me the bomb, so our tank was the bomb right off the bat. Although in the same run we also killed Ragnaros! Having 40 people there attacking the god of fire is the most amazing event I have ever seen. Having his legendary hammer fall to the island surrounded by lava was the greatest experience ever ( of course when Ragnaros did his aoe, I was a bit to close, and was killed, but my guild still got him!).

I've got a few great moments from WoW. First time summoning Ragnaros is a great moment for many people, myself included. Killing Ragnaros after a second wave of Sons was also epic.
Killing two rogues at once was nice (I'm not the worlds best PvPer you see), as was when I got ganked by a paladin that took over 5 minutes to kill me (I was oom for 90% of that) and used his bubble twice.
But my favourite moment was probably when, shortly after hitting 60, I was bored and asked my brother for suggestions for what to do. Hetold me to go grind in the plaguelands, as one of his friends had just got a
Skullflame Shield
there the other day. So I get there and kill about 5 mobs, and then guess what dropped?
Skullflame Shield
. His jaw hit the floor. As a mage I sold it to pay for my epic riding, he had a warrior on another server and was cursing me for days.

Back in the days of Vanilla WoW, I thought I was awesome stuff - real hot @#$%. I was just about to hit 60 and thought I was pure awesome - and then I saw in LFG (Back in the day when it was just a global channel, oh how I miss thee...) "LFM UBRS, Need Healer!" So of course, being the awesome pally I was, went along thinking it'd be pretty boring and simple.
BOY WAS I WRONG.
Orcs and Dragons running around everywhere, summoning each other!
A big, trapped Fire Elemental being held down by Orc Warlocks - That proceeded to forget to keep him trapped, got killed and then EXPLOSION! He escaped and Wreaked havoc on us all!
After the EPIC battle, fighting him down, we head to the rookery - and someone brushed against an egg (And I will swear to my dying day that it wasn't me!) And out of nowhere, (Okay, out of the eggs) came a million and one dragons, drawing more and more with them until we could barely see the ground for dragon corpses.
All as normal, killed a few orcs and such, and then:
OH.
MY.
GOD.
Rend Blackhand and Victor Nefarius, throwing all the dragons they had at us and then Rend Himself, in all his glory! Never had I seen such an epic battle. Until Later...
Running past some fires, and seeing a trio of orcs running in terror, screaming for their lives, and behind them the Biggest monstrosity mine eyes had ever beheld! And what's more, with fairly minimal effort, we Laid low the Beast and even Skinned his corpse... And there, in his belly, Finkle einhorn! The little gnome was ecstatic to see us to say the least, but refused our offer to join us in our quest up the mountain.
Presently, after fighing our way through the horde of Dragons and Orcs to the top of the tower, (or at least as far as we could reach) we beheld the awesome, the mighty, General Drakkisath himself, the Ruler of the Armies of Nefarian, The Cruel and Evil Dragon Warrior that struck Fear into the hearts of millions. And After a mighty climactic battle, in which I ran out of Mana at least three or four zillion times, The mighty foe was vanquished, and we Cried out our triumph across the whole of the mountain of Blackrock! And lo, upon his corpse, was a T0 chestpiece - Sadly, it was magisters :( But seeing as though we had no mages with us, and none of the cloth wearers needed it, I got it 'cos it was better than the green piece of crap I was wearing.
The End!
Now, this is the REAL favourite moment: After the EPIC STRUGGLE of my first time in UBRS, I have since gone back recently with a few good men, and cleared the entirety of the instance. In about half an hour. And once again, The Magister's dropped - and I got it for nostalgia purposes :D

My favorite moment was the first time seeing the
Nefarian
fight as a dps warrior. Going there week after week hoping for certain colors (please don't be
green
.. please don't be
green
...). And of course, the dreaded timer between resets after wipes. Had some good times with the guild screwing around and going to ratemy(some form of bodily excrement).com (was not my idea!) during the breaks as well as the one officer that would always play Eye Of the Tiger before every attempt (i'm pretty sure it helped). Then again, there was always the one warrior or mage who would go link dead during the
constructs
respawning (gotta love a 30+ minute fight) and wiping the raid after we had gone so far. I also remember taking screenshots of my first encounter with
Nef
(the last raid boss in the game at that point) and sending them to my friend and considering it such a major accomplishment that I even saw the boss. I don't know of another encounter that could be easy one week and horrible the next (ok, except
Vael
with people
blowing up
in the raid..) and bring guilds down because of the colors or some idiot forgetting his
Ony Scale Cloak
and dying early. Ah, the good old days of a 40 man raid that was truly epic in scale versus a dragon that took up your whole screen when tanking him (against the wall of course because of the cleave/
shadow flame
.)

I can't forget when I reached level 10, as a Tauren Warrior, found myself an first green leather pair of bracers.
After that I went to Orgrimmar and asked if I could be a hunter, to get pet and use my leather bracer for that, and I've never been so teased in my life before.
