I have to say my all time greatest WoW moment occurred with my Night Elf Hunter, the first character I got to 60 back in the day. I was in Felwood, inside Jaedenar. At the end there is a fight against an orc Warlock and his two succubus minions. One of them charmed my hunter, making her attack her cat. And then, all of a sudden, the enemies all un-agroed, leaving me standing charmed in the middle of the room.
Aaand that is when the game freaked out. The charm ended, but my hunter suddenly started spamming /say with the following text: "Error! In charm group but not charmed, de-spawning." Over and over and over, constantly. But there was more. I could attack NPCs, but they would not attack me back. Every time I used an ability that took mana, it would come back instantly. I could perform Daze attacks and crushing blows like an NPC. And finally, when I went outside I saw two horde players that weren't flagged PvP. But they were hostile to me, so I could (and did, just to test) attack them without them being able to hurt me.
The GM I talked to about it thought it was hillarious and very interesting. It ended when I finally zoned, but it was definitely my high point in World of Warcraft... always been a fan of crazy bugs.

I'd have to say my best moment would be my first 40 man raid. I did on my human mage.

My favorite moment in WoW... hm... Well the alliance really enjoyed raiding Orgrimmar day and night on my server. We started to have people to go to rachet around the times they would raid to see if any raids were forming and report back. But after a while we got tired swatting them down like flies, so we formed 2 raid groups on Iron forge. We had a small group go to Stormwind to destract the alliance and go into the deep run tram to start summoning us from the inside of the tunnel. After few minutes we moved out. Once we were out of the deap run tram we went straight for the gnome king and took him out without much of a problem. We kept going but a VERY large group of alliance were already waiting for us next to all the forges, all of the fighting that went on here crashed half of Iron Forge. The whole server started to lag (Our server was always full and had a queue of up to 800 at times and had a bit of a lag issue at times like these), it was impossible to fight so most of us ran outside and hearthed back. After this I just about never saw another raid on Orgrimmar on that server.

I've been playing WoW since beta, and have had lots of memorible moments.
I never raided much (all I did was PVP) Pre-BC cause of time restraints but I made it a mission to start in BC, my first time I stepped into Karazhan was amazing, I remember checking the place out before they opened it as a raid, and to be actually part of a storyline felt great. As I was part of a new guild to raiding as well, every boss was struggle and hard fought fight to win. But the best feeling I have ever had in WoW was when we downed Curator for the fight time after weeks of wiping. It was a great experience with everyone cheering in vent. Ever since that moment, I have been a raider.
Also seeing Naxx for the first time, even though it was with all 70's the detail put into that instance is amazing. I can't even imagine doing it with 40 60's... crazy..

Zul'Gurub was an amazing experience, Working through the bosses one by one and eventually being able to kill the Hakkar - a boss we had heard so much about through in-game lore!
Zul'Aman today, if you haven't had the pleasure of running it yet, is an equally epic experience, defeating the bosses and in particular, the final boss, makes the experience well worth your time.
I was considering buying my first epic land mount (~800-1k gold back in the day, this was pretty much most the most gold players ever saw) and then the first (and only mount for our guild) drop (and you know, I would have been twice Exalted by this point!). Group Loot was accidentally set for the boss and everyone passed - amazing!
Thus, my favourite moment in my WoW career was not only having the privilege of working with a classic guild through Zul'Gurub, but also being a participant in a mount drop and winning a Swift Zulian Tiger with awful DKP system. ^_^

Another fond STV memory.
I was leveling my rogue (NE) and minding my own business questing when another alliance member showed up. He seemed friendly at first, then started harassing me and killing my mobs. I soon grew annoyed. He kept going on doing this. So then it struck me! I'll round up several mobs and bandage and vanish on him. Success! He died. I was sub spec at the time and i just blew my CD and was able to do it again. At this time a horde party happened to stroll through. They saw me aggroing the mobs to him and didnt interfere. They just clapped excitedly for me. I managed to get the party to camp the jerkass.
Putting petty differences aside with horde to kill fellow alliance member? Priceless.

When I first got World of Warcraft, I actually sat and watch'd all the patches. I had heard so much about it and was totally crazy on starting playing. I had actually decided to be Night Elf Hunter before (hehe) And I was creating my first character with details, he must be perfect!
I finally get Into the game, and I just sit there watching the screen, for atleast 10 mins. It was amazing, with the night elf music in the background, and the mystical "theme" all over. I actually thought the beginner quest was super fun. A week later i was almost lvl 30, but then it got slower, and slower. But finally right in time for summer break, I reach 70, and that feeling was just as awesome, with all my friends watching me.

My favourite moment was back pre TBC when I played horde as an undead mage. I had just recently hit level 60 and had recently joined a raiding guild. I had been leveling in the guild for about a week from about level 56 (I was an insanely slow leveler) and every night I saw the people in guild raiding ZG and wanted to go so badly.
My first night at level 60 I got into my very first raid. I remember gawking at some of the people in the raid that had purples and couldn't wait to get my own. So naturally we fight Venoxis first and what drops? Why the Fang of Venoxis of course! I won the roll and tried to equip the dagger and it wouldn't work! Turns out I had never trained daggers! People got pretty *!@#ed at me lol, but those were good times.

Best wow moment
Second Nef kill waaay back, I was the last dps alive shortly after constructs. My heart racing trying to do as much dmg as possible and not die... we did drop him, i was #1 on dmg and got my T2 robe. We all though it was going to be a wipe, and I just kept going and going, and swore i was going to have heart failure. haha. It certainly was an awesome time, and my all time favorite raiding moment.
