As silly as this is on one of my early Molten Core raids we were just cleaning up after our frist kill of Golemagg the loot was being handed out and the raid had already been called. The other mages opend portals to Under City and I stuck around to make sure everyone had a way out, well sure enough their was about 15 people who for what ever reason did not take the portal made by one of the other mages, and they asked me for one. I just got the Azure Song Mage Blade and was checking it out how it looked on me and hit the portal (or i thought) buttion on my casting bar, not reading I teleported my self to Undercity leaving about 15 people their. I was sorry and splitting my sides at the same time because the main tank had just used his herth stone 15 to 20 min before to get a item out of his bank ran back via a guild summoning network (alts warlocks out side the zone) and gotten a summon past some respawn mobs was now trapped deep inside Molten Core and I'll never forget what he said (with humor)
" Great, the mage takes the loot and leaves the meat shield behind to cook " the others used their stones to get out of MC and he ended up taking off as much armor as he could and jumped into a fire pit some where.

My best moment i WoW was when i played on my Night Elf rogue. It was a Crossroads raid, like 80 people from the alliance side raiding Crossroads. It was amazing, and that was my first char so i stayed up all night long just having fun. And the moment from the raid i will remember was when i killed a level 60 shaman with Dungeon set 1, when i was level 40 :D But he didnt have more than like 3% HP but i was very proud after that xD

My favorite WoW memories:
My absolute FAVORITE memory, when I was a level 18 Human rogue, my first character, my first time to Deadmines back in the January after the game released. For whatever reason, probably because this was new to all of us save for one person and thinking back he probably wasn't a good player, it took us 2 or 3 hours to do the whole instance, dying constantly. It was the first night I asked my mom if I could skip dinner to play WoW, but it wasn't the last.
Random other tidbits:
The first time my guild downed Hakkar in ZG, my fire mage got the KB with a scorch with the last 150 mana that I had.
After a solid career of being mediocre at PvP, I respecced my mage to PvP frost for a night of EotS with some friends and I ended up with the most KBs in our first game, it really got me pumped for the rest of the evening.
After reforming a guild with some of my close friends and naming it <Team Cake>, we came to the decision that, since we didn't really want to add any people we didn't know to the guild, that if anyone asked what kind of guild we were (PvP, PvE, etc) we would kindly inform them that we were a Baking Guild, and if they were stupid enough to inquire further we would say, "We bake cakes okay?" Fun stuff.
I remember back when I was foolish enough to be playing a Human rogue on Uldum, my first character. I had a friend who had leveled to 60 before me and I had leveled with his alt. I knew absolutely nothing about getting gold together, so the 100g for my mount was a huge feat for me. I had 40g to my name, and he was kind enough to lend me 60g. I grinded my ass off for a week on Coldeye Basilisks in STV in order to pay him back...now I have 6 70's on Mannoroth and I blow 60g on the stupidest things every day. Its crazy how things have changed.
Those are my memories.

Well, my most epic moment had to been my first encounter with outlands(Hekllfire doh), the scene was breathtaking to me(After the seemingly boring Azeroth). The music, the fire, the sky, and of course, the incredible quest exp and rewards. Hopefully that same feeling will come back with my first time in WoTLK :)

I've played WoW for only one year, and my best moment so far must have been the first visit to Black Rock Depths. I was for the first time really playing in a group with three friends and we where learning the way of the 5-mans (well 4 in our case) with voice chat, which had just been added as an ingame feature.
Our journey was one of learning as none of us had any game experience except solo questing. Entering the enourmous cavern was breathtaking and having to climb the chains was daunting.
We had countless wipes as we made slow but steady progress in learning how to aid each other, devide roles amongst us, tanking, healing, killing. When we finally had some routine established and were able to win the arena match in Black Rock Depths, that was the most exhilirating moment I have encountered, and when we had made our way past the spectator area and got the key made I was certain life in WoW would never get any better.
In a way it didn't. I now raid with a fine raiding guild and learn a lot from my helpfull allys, but still. Somehow this experience with a couple of real life friends exploring the unknown without any aid from more experienced players was an acheivement unparralled and my fondest WoW memory to date.
