It was raining when I returned to Un'Goro Crater. I remembered wiping the rain off my brow so I could see. A friend had told that he was still alive in crater. I didn't believe him.
He had killed me- so long ago. It seemed like it had been twenty years. I was assisting the people of Marshal's Refuge, and he was there, with a bite and a stomp I was tossed aside without remorse. I hit him before I died, one blow to the side of the head with my mace. He was bleeding, but I was left for dead... If I didn't have my ankh, I'd still be dead. A hopeless spirit searching for my body.
I had grown since then, I have fought with countless enemies, I had even battled through Karazhan. To find out my old nemesis was alive, and still terrorizing the crater was a blessing in disguise.
Tracking him wouldn't be easy. I was never good at tracking. But one thing I was good at was using the storm to help me. I am shaman after all. I called for my worg. He ran by, and I grabbed onto him. There was an odd sound in the thunder that day... I knew this would be my day.
Riding past the volcano only fueled my hatred for the beast... That's when I had a bit of luck, I came across a young orc, he was laying there dead, using my most powerful spell I brought him back to life, "Where is he?" I asked. He was too scared to answer. I let him run off, the beast was close.
It would be too dangerous for my worg... I let him hang back as I etched forward, my chainmail armor getting even heavier in the rain. Then I heard a roar. It was distant, but the thunderous footsteps were coming closer. I placed my totems in the ground securely, preparing for the fight of my life.
He came into view through the thick rain of the crater. His nose was the first thing I saw, and that scar I had left him some time ago. I had to wait for the right moment, and he came close enough to see my totems, I could have swore he looked at me, and I almost felt pity- Until I channeled the fury of the storm through my body, and let lightning bolts singe his flesh until he dropped.
I withdrew my skinning knife and I charged at his corpse, I cut off his supple flesh, and I held it above my head, "I have killed Devilsaur!"

My most recent favorite moment happened while I was running the flag in WSG(I'm a warrior). So I'm running the flag back to the Horde side, getting slowed down by some alliance toons here and there, I had enough rage to use Spell Reflection so I hit it... and I spell reflected a Holy Shock to a undead rogue behind me who was helping me by slowing down anyone around me and healed him for over 8k health, lol.

I think my favorite moment in my history of playing world of warcraft would have to be how many people try and gank and fail. My friend and I were questing in Stranglethorn Vale one day and decided to kill some alliance. We were both shaman, he was Enhancement and I was Elemental. We were killing everyone that came out of Booty Bay until a level 70 balance druid destroyed us both. Made us both sad. So we logged and I got on my 67 disc/holy priest and he was on his 66 assassination rogue and we ended up killing him a bunch of times. It was hilarious. Love failures. =)

Most of my favorite WoW moments are just simple things from when I was leveling my first 70. The game was fresh and exciting and spending hours questing in the wetlands was absolutely exhilirating.
I loved the Verigan's Fist questline. It made me happy to be a paladin.
Doing Scarlet Monestary for the first time was awesome. Nobody in our group knew about group make up...who needs a tank anyway! Our warlock used his blueberry to tank the entire instance.
A random level 70 gave me 2 gold when I was about level 25 and I was just overjoyed.
The joys (okay errr sheer frustration) of trying to make our way through Blackrock Depths to finish all our quests was a stand out memory. The whole Onyxia key quest line was really very very cool. Jail break and then off to march through Stormwind behind Marshal Windsor.
The music from the low level zones brings it all back so I enjoy strolling through elwynn, stormwind, darkshire, ect...just to listen to the music.
Basically the whole process of leveling my first character when WoW was new and fresh to me is my best WoW memory. Hopefully leveling my first character to 80 in the expansion can recapture the magic of discovery and exploration.
