I'm gonna have to say that the most memorable moment in WoW for me is in a Hyjal run I was tanking Azgalor on my feral druid when one of the key healers dies. Trying to be flashy, I pop my trinkets and battle-rez the priest and pop back into bear form.
No one even noticed till the healer started asking how he got a rez from me when I was tanking...the responses in vent were hilarious.

My favorite WoW moment actually takes place outside of Wow. It was when I convinced my brothers to start playing. It was great because it allowed us to all keep in touch and play together even though we were living in different parts of the country. There's just something about leveling from level one all the way to 70 with friends and family.

The main before my current was a Tauren Female Warrior. These were in WoW's later days, the last year and a half before the expansion was to come. I had gotten into my first raiding guild as a MS Warrior, eventually changing to 2 handed Fury, and was famous server wide for doing amazing damage with blues, greens, and an Ice Barbed Spear- but I wanted something new. A single new piece of gear, of which Molten Core held none.
I missed the Arcanite Reaper boat: Let alone the fact that I was much too casual at the time to make one, the Ice Barbed Spear was nearly the same weapon, and infinitely cooler in my eyes. But then, after going through every boss in MC with my raiding group, from Lucifron to Domo- we got to Ragnaros. In 3 tries, he was dead.
And there sat the Spinal Reaper. I remember when I saw it drop, and realized I had the most DKP- then, the squeak I let out at seeing it in my chat log. Then again as I checked my bag, and again as I put it on: But by now, the squeak had erupted into a full on roar. I was in ecstacy, and I now had attained my most wonderful goal.

Completing my Atiesh. Felt like quite an accomplishment at the time, even if it was replaced shortly after with the release of TBC.
I still carry the staff with me, in hopes to catch people off-guard in after raids with a Karazhan port. >.>

my greatest moment was my first time doing the STV chest in the arena which started because my warrior freinds alt needed help with a quest. so while helping him we kept getting ganked so he logged on his main and we killed the horde that where ganking his alt, and since he was already on his warrior we decided to look for some place to kill horde. as we where nameing places to look for them the message that the chest was dropped appears and we rush to grab it killing any horde there in a attempt to get the chest. since we always saw 70s there we figured there had to be really great loot in the chest. while we where looting it a undead rogue got me and i got to my body in time to see him open chest only to loot one green lvl 50ish item. we where disappointed since we where hopeing for better loot.

My favorite moment was when I got my first toon up to 58 and could finally step through to Outlands.../cheer. Let's hope WOTLK will be the same!

I would have to say the best moment I had, was at the very start as soon as I made my first character. A night elf hunter (this is before TBC). As soon as the cut scene went through I got goose bumps. Then I got the chance to look around and see a completely new world of what I knew nothing of and yet every where I looked was just some thing new to discover. Every one was also pretty new to the game so every one I came across was just as lost as I was. As far as I could see every one was helping each other out and having a great time. Not quite what it's like now ;)
Once I hit about level five is when I noticed. This was the first place I've been where people don't just look at what clothes the other is wearing, or how old they are, or any other personal feature other than we were all in this together and the only thing you saw in people was who they really are. It was the first place where I felt free to be who I was in this beautiful world and not have people giving me a dirty look or make me feel like I had to be some one else.
That was the moment I will never forget.

First epic I ever got was the little healy shield from Chess in kara. First raid, first epic and possibly the best encounter in the game.. I was shaking for hours. Still have the shield, plan on keeping it even after I stop playing.
