My favorite moment...
My favorite moment wasn't always my favorite.
I had just leveled up and made my way to the Org. warlock trainer. I got my training and spent my new talent point so that I could get the Felguard. I leave training and head toward the bank.
I turn the corner....and...
BAM! WHAT IS THAT?
/curious /nervous /scared
There's this huge dragon elite named Anachronos that everyone is fighting. I was just here where did it come from? I laugh to myself...No biggie I'll help kill him so I send my Felgaurd after him.
HE ONE SHOT KILLS MY FELGUARD!
/cry /panic
OMG!
He's gonna pay!

I even spammed the trade chat while in total terror!
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP THERE'S A THING IN ORG KILLING EVERYONE!
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP THERE'S A THING IN ORG KILLING EVERYONE!
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP THERE'S A THING IN ORG KILLING EVERYONE!
I thought Anachronos was going to kill everyone and everything in Org.
It turned out that this 1.6Million HP monster was just kitted over by some Ally.
That day was my most terrifying day in wow. I now look back at it in laughter being such a young nub warlock. It's now my favorite moment.

My favorite moment in wow for me had to be when my guild had me lead a kara raid for the first time. I was so nervous that i could barely speak into ventrilo, but all the help that i got from the officers really eased the nervousness. We ended up doing a full clear in about 4 hours, and a bunch of my guild mates said that they would run kara with me anytime as a raid leader because it was so much fun. Later on i got a congratulations from my guild shammy class leader (im a healer :D) saying that he was really proud of me and that hes glad that he recruited me, it almost brought a tear to my eye, i mean these guys are the best...
This is my favorite moment because not only did it bring me closer to my guild mates, it also started to show what leadership is like, WoW may be a simple video game, but it definitely helps in terms of people skills, and hey why not kill a few alliance while im at it? :P

My favorite Wow moment was when i made a gnome rogue named shinchan (refrance to the anime) back on feathermoon when i first started. My brother was organizeing an rp wedding in stormwind. My little rogue poped in and out of stealth pokeing, and danceing with people to help liven up the crowed. Everyone that recanized my gnomes name pointed and laughed as i went it was a great time and entertaining.

My favorite wow moment is the first time my guild downed C'Thun, it had taken weeks of tries and many, many wipes including a number of "death in 5 seconds by beams at doorway" insta-wipes, its been my favorite wow boss so far.

My favorite memory would be leveling my first character ( Undead Mage ) and going through Scarlet Monastery with 4 other real life friends. After killing Houndmaster Loksey, the dog whistle dropped. With free for all loot on, all of us /roll'ed on the item and I lost but 2 of my friends tied with 99's, while they were rerolling I went up to the mob and ninja'ed the item and we all got a great laugh over it in Ventrillo. That was 3 years ago and I still have the Dog Whistle in my bank with one charge left on it.

Soon after hitting Outlands with my rogue (my second 70) I got into a Ramparts group. When we got to the final boss, we downed Vazruden no problem, but the tank dropped when Nazan was at about 15%. Then one DPS dropped, then another. At this point it was just me and the healer, and I had more aggro, so I was promoted the impromptu tank. I popped all my cooldowns. I got him to within 2%, but unfortunately it wasn't enough, and the healer teased me afterward for having too little armor for a tank =P Times like that throughout the game have made me love the rogue class and the urgency it seems to instill at desperate moments.

Can I post two? :)
First memorable moment was also walking into Stormwind's Valley of Heroes for the first time. Massive statues, heroic music. Was pretty moving. It definitely confirmed World of Warcraft's potential as a game for me. WoW got it's hooks deep into me right there.
Right up there was the first time I saw Ragnaros erupt from the lava in Molten Core. How awesome was that - you get there after weeks and weeks of raiding with 39 of your closest friends, and Majordomo Executus leads you into Ragnasos' lair. Then there was the feeling you got when you finally beat Ragnaros. I'll never forget it.
