One of my favorite moments was when I was questing in Theramore and I just kept being sent from place to place with weird quest names like "Is it real?" and "yes it's real". Finally i went back to the first guy that gave me the quest then suddenly the whole place got dark and tons of marksman came out of no where and lined up at the docks and stood there. Then from no where some sea monster like thing started attacking the marksman. Of course I shot a wrath or two at it. Getting nothing out of that I started to heal the marksman on the docks. The fight took about half an hour but it died. Even though the quest gave nothing for my class it was worth the running aroung to kill a giant sea monster.

Well... To be honest my favorite moment in WoW was even before I had my own account and my friend allowed me to make a level 1 warlock on his server Terenas. To be honest I loved the game at first sight. I've been playing blizzard games since starcraft first came out. And I was used to using WASD and the 1-0 bar across the top for abilities and other things as such. The funny thing is when i thought that fear (yes the spell that makes a warlock) was the most useless spell in the game. Like honestly who wants your enemies to run? I would rather stand there and toss a Shadow Bolt into their face and watch the Kobolds do backflips as it instantly destroyed their tiny little bodies. *Basks in the glory.*
Well now i have a awesome main (70 Tankadin) and multiple twinks... Never again have I played a warlock since. (3 years later)

I would have to say that my best moment so far in World of Warcraft was killing Kael (TBC) for the first time.
He was the last T5 boss we had to kill before getting into Hyjal/BT and we'd been working on him for a long time. In many ways killing him felt like much more of an accomplishment than all of the T6 bosses (barring Illidan/Archimonde).
Short of that - Naxx was one of my all time favorite instances so pretty much any epic 40 man raid in there was a blast for me. =)
Hopefully WotLK will hold some of that wonderful Naxx goodness in it's mini-version.

One of the things I now find myself doing is while I'm driving, I'll notice a license plate with numbers like 485BRD and automatically think "Blackrock Depths". I don't know if this makes me "addicted" to WoW but sure gets some funny comments from my wife. Thank you Blizzard for a fantastic and fun game. I have also made many great friends during play.

It was the first weeks of the Europe release and I had just created my beloved Tauren Druid which I still play today. Me and a irl friend of mine, a Tauren Warrior, were just starting to explore the Barrens and we were pretty exited in general.
This is where it all happened ;) My friend sees this Giraffe and asks me to help him kill it (we are on Ventrilo atm), I'm somewhat reluctant due to the fact that it is higher level then the two of us but in a few moments he is charging towards it - "aaHhhh! HELP ME BISA!" followed by hysterical laughter from both of us as the little neutral but horrific creature totally whooped our asses is etched into my memory for life.
Those were the days, innocent...

My favorite moment had to be when I beat a undead warlock 2 lvls above me when I was playing as a 45 gnome mage on the Magtheridon server. I was questing in Feralas and I saw him killing the ogres (I forget where exactly it was :P) and I, being a noobish player at the time, of course took the chance when he was low on health and took him out along with his voidwalker. Then I started questing there and was nearly done and left for a bit to restock and repair due to fight with the warlock and the ogre. When I came back he was there again and hadn't noticed me yet. I took the chance quickly to strike him down right as he was summoning his voidwalker and once again had victory. I of course never saw him again after that but it was fun cuz i for once I ganked a horde rather than the other way around. This was all of course on a PVP server and I was lvl 41 at the time and was fire spec which probably helped a bit.

My favorite moment in WoW was getting swim form on my Druid. With all the grinding involved it was actually peaceful to swim the lakes and relax. It's not much, but I also found a class that I love :)

My favorite moment in WoW came when i leveled my first character to level 60. After a culmination of 5 days grinding away by myself in Burning Steppes i finally got my holy pally to level up and join my first guild, Sovereign Metal.
I'd have to say the other favorite moment was when i finally got my wife to join WoW and she loves it to this day.
