My favorite moment in WoW?
My first horde character, my main, and the namesake of this account.
It is of course a Hunter...my most favorite moment in WoW was when I and a couple of other people from my guild went into Zul'Gurub.
It was about 8 people, and 5 of us were level 60+; I was a level 56 at the time. A level 56 hunter being taken into Zul'Gurub to fight Hakkar the Soulflayer was just awesome. The feel of taking down the once high-and-mighty bosses of Zul'Gurub with such ease was absolutely wonderful. It was then I discovered my true passion in World of Warcraft; Raiding.
Without a doubt that has to be my current favorite moment in WoW, a close second would be the time when me and eight other 70s took down Ragnaros before he submerged.

My first character was a undead warlock. I started before they opened molten core. I'd have to say my best memory was during the Baron Geddon fight. You see, I had my fel puppy out to cleanse the curse he put on people. Well, he decided to put it on my pet, so I abandoned it, and resummoned it in the org Auction House.
Needless to say, it was quite an explosive experience :-)

Hmm....
My favorite moment in my WoW career would most definetly be my first time in a battleground on my main. (It was the 20-29 bracket, if I am correct.) I was about level 27 or 28... It was Warsong Gulch, I was running along the eastern side, up to the alliance base, when I spotted a rogue who ran up about 45 yards from me and stealthed, clearly he was trying to gank me! Of course, I wouldn't have any of that, so I kept running along.
A few seconds later, I was opened upon by the rogue with a cheap shot! *gasp*. Now, being the mage I was/am, blinked out of it and got a few more feet of distance, and started charging up a fireball (I was fire at the time) and just as he reached me, it went off, and he got a few hits in, getting me down by about 25% or so, but it got him down to 60%. Needless to say I was very excited and nervous, with this being my first BG and all, I was so happy so I nova'd him, and ran away to get some distance. I started charging up another fireball, and when it hit him, I got a lucky crit and he was down to about 20%. "HAH!" I thought to myself... And shot him with one last Fire Blast for the KB.
My first PvP solo kill! Woooo! And I did groundbreakingly good! Sweet! Woohoo!
...
I found out later he was only level 21.

My Favorite World of Warcraft Moment
My favorite WoW moment was when I was a noob, I was probably the noobiest noob of all noobs in Noobville. It all started at about level 7-10, i thought that a succubuss was a player. And because of that, like any other dude would do...Flirt! It was pretty funny lol! I always wondered why she didn't respond...
But, as you can see...I WAS A NOOB! I didn't know that Wowhead, Thottbot, or any of the other WoW database sites existed! And just for the record, I was so desperate---that I bought the
World of Warcraft Atlas
(Pre-BC). This was about... Oh 2 years ago I'd say.
My friend and I (when we were noobs) tried to travel from Orgrimmar to Thunder Bluff, (this was at level 13, lol I still remember) we sucked at using our maps, so we ended up in Stonetalon Mountains! So we had to go back, and enter Mulgore. We finally made it on our
2 day
journey!
Well, that's it, my noob story!

Man, this is a hard one.
I'm not to good at story telling but here goes:
I guess it would have to be the time I kited a 70 human pally all the way from the ramps entrance to thrallmar at level 62, and almost killed him. In fact he only killed me because I didn't silencing shot fast enough and he got off a heal. If I had silenced that heal he would have been toast. My story telling kind of sucks, but you can't imagine how intense that fight was. My heart was racing like mad, and when I screwed up ear the end and lost I was so mad, but oh well, that's how things go on a PvP server.

Killing Archimonde for the first time.
You know, one of those fights Everyone has to be on the ball for.
Spending week after weeks, hours and hours. People coming and going, having to reteach the strat to.
We all became dull to the backdoor shoving Archimonde often implimented on us.
We'd go in, all would be going well, one would die, then another, then two more. and it's all over.
A regular day, something clicked. People played the same, however, I figure we were getting lucky with fire's/air bursts etc.
He's at 75%.. very normal..
50%.. about here we wipe.. but didn't this time
40%. I can feel the tension in the raid, everyone taking Extra precautionary measures to stay alive and ensure each other's survival.
30%. Vent is silent. All but the calling of fears can be heard.
20%. People break the silence 'burn him down! burn him down!'
18% Of course, two people die at the same time. Once you lose your cool, these things happen.
We manage to survive 4 soul charges.
10%. Archimonde runs and does his final animation of the encounter.
Screams and cheers and tears fill the Ventrilo Channel.
We survive with 14 alive at the end.
(Also, got my Enh shaman's T6 helm that day =D )
I later found out a few of my officers were crying to each other over the phone, lol.
Since then, we've cleared BT (not a great feat to many standards, but still!) and haven't felt such a gratifying experience as our first archimonde kill.
I still raid, and look forward to another day that will bring me such a feeling and experience.

My favorite moment...
My main is a dwarven hunter. I remember running through STV and seeing this beautiful cat. I knew at once I had to have him as a pet! I marked the location, and went back to town to stable my pet. I went back out and stalked that cat with the intention of taming him. Now, back then, I was still very much a noob and was very much a huntard...so I died several times in the process. However, after about 15 minutes, I was able to tame the King of cats. King Bangalash. Although I have since said goodbye to him, he was a loyal friend and partner for a long time.

The favorite moment (or moments) i had in WoW was in TBC when SSC and TK were still fairly hard and i had just joined a new formed raiding guild as the only Prot Paladin (back when ppl said Paladins can't tank) and at our learning curve when we downed Morogrim,Fathom and Fel Reaver were my best experiences since I Tanked Fel Reaver for most of the fight and got to do the pull and I was allways MTing Fathom lord when we first downed him. Those fights were so epic expecially when it was the first time i was playing as a tank in raids, Raiding as a paladin tank back then was so epic when the instances were new and exiting.

My favorite moment was when I was questing in Loch Modan for the first time with a friend. We were just going about our questing and two ? horde run up to us. It was my first time ever seeing a horde so I decided to attack them! About 2 seconds later I was face down in the dirt. My friend was smart and didn't attack them. We had a good laugh about it.

My favorite WoW moment was way, way, back before Burning Crusade. Myself, and a small group of guildies had just hit 60. At this time the best form of PvP was outdoor, open world style.
One day we get the idea to harass Orgrimmar. Since there was only a handful of people we couldn't make for Thrall, so we did the next best thing; take over the Zeppelin Tower. It started out with a few flagged players unlucky enough to come back from a flagged zone, but rapidly grew into a massive battle. Once the word spread that there were Alliance just outside the Orgrimmar gates massacring any flagged player, everyone wanted a piece of the action.
The whole ordeal lasted about two hours, and required countless corpse runs on both sides of the skirmish, but was a blast none the less.
